The dean is one of my favourite characters in this. His role becomes more prominent as the show goes on, and it’s awesome. Jim rash is a diamond.

Showing how drugs turn on you does look like an effective anti-drug message, especially with peer pressure about the initial feeling.
It's pretty good apart from the fact that it's a marijuana leaf, since marijuana doesn't have the same kind of chemical dependency and life destroying that hard drugs do
@@peterlewis2178 For something that isn't addictive, there sure are a lot of heavy users who seem unable or unwilling to reduce or eliminate their use. I'm not saying that it's as physically dangerous as harder drugs, but it's not totally harmless, either.

My favorite scene, is when the Dean comments on Jeff being sexy even in a coffin... The girl sitting next to him, gives him the side eye.
This is a great episode, and one of the few that seems to give Shirley some real character growth (yes, her underdevelopment as a character throughout the series is a hill I will die on). I can’t wait until episode 14!!! One of my top 3 favorites in the whole series!
