    Not sure how this is an inverter, dual speed compressor, perhaps? Still good work with making it work again.
    Edit: watched the explanation video and they use a drop in controller that runs low power mode when the thermostat says to turn off, and turns off after a time and speeds up if it asks again, constantly adjusting to minimize total off time. Not as good as a digital thermostat that can adjust to keep it constant temp, but it's more efficient still. Even my mini split does things in cycles of higher and lower speed instead of perfect in between thanks to defrost and imperfect air mixing in the house getting a warm bubble that dissipates as it turns lower power. So this is neat still and I didn't know they made drop ins. I might consider doing this in the future if my 1996 fridge ever dies.

    Nice job. One thing that I would add is a schematic for your wiring. This would be helpful. Another would be to add the old and new model numbers of the compressors (and if possible) links to their respective documentation. The more data the better. Thanks

      because he will be brazing another pipe to that pipe so it must be clean or brazing metal will not stick together. Also when cleaning open tube you can introduce small particles from cleaning and those particles can damage the compressor.

      R134a is the refrigerant, which does not destroy the ozone layer, assigned for the substitute of R-12 in the medium temperature units. R134a possesses the zero potential destruction of the ozone layer (PDOL),

    • @mikafoxx2717
      @mikafoxx2717 8 дней назад

      Not wrong. 134a is a fairly potent greenhouse gas, but only 1200x CO2, wheras R410a used in big systems (which leak often) are 2000x. You can even buy 134a in keyboard duster cans for.. spraying in the air.. so the tiny bit in a fridge that would leak out in a dump anyways is not a huge issue, all things considered. Just imagine how many 50's R12 ozone depleting fridges are rotting and leaking in the dump because of the rumours of bad power use when they use less than most 90's refridgerators, which are only about 20% more power than modern fridges. @@hoozdis
