Loved that Bruce, especially as while the 'bottom' of the loop is TMF's patch, the top end is more my 'manor'. I'd be happy to show you a slight tweek to this route. Like TMF, you're always welcome round mine for a brew. The best cafe (and homemade chocolate / stickies) in Thame is called "Rumsey's Chocolaterie" next to the Swan Hotel. I have a feeling I'll be seening a lot more bikes on my local roads after this video and the success of Simon Weir's books.
Sat in the bath with a glass of wine watching you two rabbit and ride. Excellent way to spend an hour or so. Gets a bit embarrassing when I realise I’ve spent more time looking through the screen of your GS1250 this year than I have through the screen of my XT.
Bruce, I really enjoy all your videos, especially the ride outs and back 'n forth banter with Simon, Lambchops, TMF and Richy Vida. A friend and I flew over to England from Colorado, rented motorcycles from RoadTripUK in Woking, and then spent the next 8 days touring the Cotswolds, North Wessex Downs, Brecon Beacons, and Snowdonia. Great, great riding using Simon's routes exclusively. It's fun to see you featuring his book tours on your channel. If you're ever in the states, let me know, and we'll set you up with accommodation and some great riding here in the Rockies. Thanks again for all the effort you put into your channel. Much appreciated.
That’s very kind of you to say Marcus, and great to hear you’re enjoying the vids. Awesome that you came over and had fun on the British roads, there are some great places to ride over here - just a shame there’s often so much traffic down here in the South. I’m coming over to the States in 2022 so would be great to meet up, if only for a day. My plan is to spend a week attacking the entire country, so a mixture of big mileage days and spending a couple of days at select places 👍
Loved this one. Used to work just outside Aylesbury and actually took my bike test there! so know it well and was great to be reminded of the great roads…looking forward to more bikers Britain. Keep living it.

I just did the Charlbury TT Loop on my own after doing it the week before with a buddy as I enjoyed that one very much, thanks Simon, nice route. I did pop into Waddesdon manor but just to look around the grounds (book in advance, allow 1.5hrs for just the grounds visit). I posted on my channel take a peak to view the route. There's one section where my front wheel lifts off the ground on a dip!!! I caught it the week before on the Gopro. Thanks again guys enjoyed the watch.
Loved it Bruce. It might feel like a faff for you to have multiple audio and visual recording channels but it’s well worth it for the viewer. The different views, the drone footage, the musical interludes it all goes to keep you engaged. Excellent content once again 😊
Great video Bruce. I just bought and downloaded the route, I will give it a go. To be honest I really do like the videos where you just ride and talk away. Brilliant 👍
Yes, that B4011 is a good and well known bikers road. Combine it with the A413, B4032 and the B440 and you've got a good 60 mile stretch of biking roads. Then just turn around and do it in reverse. As usual though traffic will be the main issue, so I always go for rides at first light, even in the winter.
Ha Ha Cheers Brian, it’s stunning to look at, and an experience to ride, but traffic hammers it. If you can get it early morning or late evening, then it’s a different kettle of fish 👍
Great vid Bruce, you realise if you had both stopped for a photo at chequers entrance and waited for the armed police to arrive there would have been views in that. Perhaps another vlogger has already done that. 😉 Nice to meet you at the NEC
You could easily extend this route if you wanted. Instead of turning right off the B4011 through Chearsley stay on the 4011 all the way to the A41. Then turn right back towards Aylesbury and then left into the turn for Calvert. At the Buckingham end you can take either the A422 to the A5 and go north or the A413 to Whittlebury then turn right to Paulerspury to the A5 then right again and head south. Super Sausage cafe will be on your left or fight depending on which way you come.. A must stop! You can carry on south and pick up the A422 back to Buckingham.
Nice video Bruce, I used to live in high Wycombe and had a lot of mates in Aylesbury so I know all those roads very well. That road in long crendon is one of the best. I nearly got my car airborne on that crest ha ha. Nice seeing those roads again. 👍🏻

My local cols( mollendruz and marchairuz attract hundreds of bikers on nice days, you can’t do the speed limit round the bends, obviously you can on the straight bits but where’s the fun in that, there normally is a police presence but they don’t intervene unless someone is being a T-t.,would love to ride out if you come back over this way 👍👍
