    Barnet resident here. During covid Barnet council spent half a million £ on a 2 mile cycle lane in Finchley. So far the cost has risen to over £720,000 of taxpayers money. They messed up by installing the cycle lane to take over one full lane of traffic on the A406 flyover thereby reducing traffic down from 2 lanes to 1 and causing gridlock. Then they had to remove it at a cost of hundreds of thousands. Several Holiday Inn hotels are housing illegals in the borough. Public libraries in all over the borough have been reduced to self service. This is scandalous.

    Underneath the scarf and dark glasses, TLA may be disfigured from burns, it would be the first conclusion I would come to about his appearance,

    I don't see why blue badge holders should get concessions in car parks. They are going to use the facilities just the same as anyone else who is going. Yes, i agree with being able to park on yellow lines, etc, but not in car parks like this.
    BTW, I'm a blue badge holder

    • @joeexotic5831
      @joeexotic5831 9 месяцев назад

      Agreed. Maybe there should be spaces closer too the facility, but in terms of paying, it isnt free to those on benefits or less fortunate, so it shouldnt be free to blue badge holders either. Though it did seem a little expensive considering its a purpose built car park for the museum

    • @ukwhitewitch
      @ukwhitewitch 7 месяцев назад

      Disabled bays in car parks are usually closer to the entrance so we don't need to walk very far....I wouldn't be able to park a distance away on double yellows and then walk (hobble) all the way back and through the car park.
      Also, to qualify for a blue badge, one must be a recipient of the higher mobility part of PIP. This means that one's income is very low due to one's disability. The concession is to level the playing field and is similar to a reasonable adjustment so that disability doesn't negatively affect someone more than it needs to.

I was wondering if that was the same place I visited some years back, huge with lots on display and even a tech section for kids to play and learn? Possible a section in a hangar that was built like wartime Britain (a bunker or something)?
