Lin dan really exposes every player. Wei nan has phenomenal attack but Lin dan didnt even give him a chance. Lin dans footwork and technique especially his lifts, pushes and clears are so polished that each time the shuttle comes off his rackets its almost like its been calculated and measured. Players are already defeated once they get into any sort of rally with him. He is basically a floyd mayweather in badminton.

I saw lin dan was trying to avoid wei nan smashes and he always hit the shuttle in to the back gallery so that wei nan shouldnt be able to throw a smash at him lin dan is clever and he win games with his mind , he alwayd predict others shots and act on them pretty fast than others well i wasnt expecting that from wei nan 7 21 and 9 21 is showing that wei nan is weak player than lindan
Wei Nan just too depends on his smashes and he lack of speed. Just if he could walk faster, I am sure they would have a great match.

Has anyone noticed the service judge refusing to shake hands with Lin Dan at the beginning of the match? No wonder Lin Dan didn't bother to shake her hand after the match. A handshake, especially in sports, is considered a sign of sportsmanship and fair play among players and officials regardless of religious or cultural beliefs. Umpires and officials should conduct themselves in a professional manner especially in an international event such as this.I hope the BWF would look into this.
You are absolutely right! It is a symbol of politeness and sportsmanship.
But in this case, it's kind of another story. If you look closely at 0:52 , she joined her hands together and did the "pray" motion to Lin Dan, it is also a gesture of politeness. At the very beginning of the match, the announcer mentioned she's from Iran, so her culture might have forbidden her from shaking hands with another man.
Apparently Lin Dan understood it hehe it's just a difference of culture I think :)
Same goes to Japanese culture. It is rather weird and disgusting to touch each others hands. They slightly bow to greet, show gratitude and politeness

chong junyang it was because he was playing lin Dan and lin Dan didn’t give him chances to smash. While Lcw lift is always short and not long enough, and it is predictable from Lcw. While lin Dan has more variation in short, control the pace and neutralise the shots each time. Just look at how lin dan play with all the soft drop from the backcourt and backhand drop. He can literally play his shot at anywhere of the court . This is why lin dan is 10 x better than lcw. Lcw backhand is one of the shittest among the pro players , backhand clear is what he did most of the time against the really pro one.
Fixed game, Wei Nan is "wei" better than this.
