Amazing how he was still such a force (up until 2017-18) after slowing down so much, just goes to show how high a level the rest of his game was. I feel sad that there are so many youtube videos of him from 2016 onwards that get compared to people like Axelsen/Momota - when in reality, they just aren't in his league.

Saw a video recently explaining why flexibility in Lindan's leg strength is the key to his success. Now I start to understand why: he can comfortably and accurately return so many winners by stretching his legs far apart while maintaining in balance. No that many players can do that as far as I recall.

They have set the level too high for the current players to follow. None of the current players are in their league. LCW & LD are indeed in a league of their own. These 2 are the Grand Masters of Men's singles. I doubt we will ever see this kind of insane high level of skill again after these 2 Grand Masters retired.

I dont understand the cross court net shot that LCW plays very often on his backhand side which always ends up in trouble loosing the point with LD. Almost 80% of time he lost the point on this shot.
