    The amazing thing is how well and consistent he played until his retirement. Lin Dan on the other hand was visibly declining and slowing down. LCW was still in amazing form until the end.

    As a Malaysian I cannot deny how stressful it was watching lcw, especially finals when going against China. It would consistently be LinDan or ChenLong and the times my family would feel down when lindan beat lcw are uncountable. Biggest wish was for lcw to get a gold medal to shut the haters, too bad he retired, at least now he could focus on his family 100%.

    That 2006 win against Lin Dan when he was trailing 13-20 with Lin Dan only one point to victory in the third set must be the most impossible comeback in badminton history. I watched the final live and I too was overwhelmed with surprises.

    Not forgotten 2015 hong kong open quarterfinal, Chen Long won 1st game 21-13 easily and leads 18-13 in 2nd game. LCW made a strong comeback 21-19 in 2nd game, won 3rd game 21-15 and eventually claimed the title.

      Beliau sering kalah kpd lin dan di Olimpik n world championship rasanya kerana tak tertanggung beban dan tekanan yang amat berat di bahunya. Sangat bersimpati dgn situasi beliau yang terpaksa memikul harapan seluruh negara seorang diri. Ini amat berbeza dgn keadaan lin dan sebab China mempunyai ramai pemain handalan selain drpd lindan sendiri (ini juga dikatakan oleh LD). Kesian LCW.
