Based on your best choice... sounds like you like the islands and beaches 😁👍 They have some beautiful areas up there for sure and I would like to go back to do the cape in the next couple of years.... we'll see how that goes 😁
You are right about this road trip, it would be wonderful to take a few days to complete it. Your footage of Ellis Beach is so gorgeous 🤩 this would be a must stop for us, along with the nature reserve with all of the palm trees 🌴 Every time I see more footage from Daintree it makes me want to visit even more!
I love road trips and stopping off at all the little places along the way. Ellis beach could have easily been missed, but I was looking for somewhere to put the drone up.... we were so glad we stopped 💖 I should be heading down the gold coast for a few more hikes soon. It's a UNESCO area like the daintree so I'm sure you will like it too. Thanks for watching guys 😁👍
G'day Chris, another great video! I do love this part of Australia. I actually spent my 2nd honeymoon in that region...aaahh the memories 😃 Balancing Rock Beach - you explained that very well. Whenever I see those "structures" on my travels I knock them down. It's beyond me as to why people do it 🤦♂️ Take care and hopefully we can catch up in a couple of months 🙏
It's such a beautiful area indeed and would like to try the cape next time I'm up that way! I ummmd and arrd about adding balancing rock beach in the video at all, but thought I could detail how it was bad. Im glad you liked what I said for that bit - wasn't sure how it was going to go over ! Your trip looks amazing and yes, will have to have you down here for lunch or dinner and a couple of drinks. I'm sure matt would love to say gday again !
@@AquariusTraveller Yeah I look forward to that 🍻 I think by showing the rocks and explaining the consequences is a definite plus. Hopefully that may make others reconsider doing it in the future. I DO like the idea of a fine but, how is that going to happen? 🤔 Holiday is going well, there have been some interesting and challenging moments. All will be revealed 😄 Head up to Thailand next Saturday.
Not sure how the fine works, but I think they are enforcing it in Victoria already. Maybe the park rangers are on the lookout or something! I love thailand - Looking forward to seeing what coming up!
@@AquariusTraveller I've been there a few times before. A couple of days at Phuket, then off to catch up with a mate on Koh Tao. Not sure where to after that. Possibly Hua Hin and then Bangers for a couple of days.
Hey Chris! Wow, that rainforest looks gorgeous! Why are there always crocs in your videos? Lol 😂 They scare me so much! It’s odd to me that you’re all so used to them! Mossman Gorge and River both look incredible!
Lol...just a lot of crocs in this area of Australia but I don't see many where I live. Not sure I could live here because your always on the look out for them. But they like the heat and stay close to the northern areas of Australia. This was the last of that trip and this series... so No more rainforests and beautiful gorges for a while but looking at plans for the new year and we'll see what happens. Thanks for watching...I always appreciate your support 😁👍
Hi there, was wondering if you know which car hire companies allow their rental cars to drive to Cape Tribulation? I would be picking the car up in townwsville or cairns in for a couple of weeks in August. Thanks so much!
There is a sealed bitumen road travelling from townsvillw/cairns to cape tribulation and you'll be able to rent from any company. I've always used something like Avis, but budget and Eurocar should be there too, although I use discover cars and choose from what's available at the airport I want it from. Its a lovely trip and lots to see... I do have some blogs to help you...cairns here to get you started, but search for the port Douglas one as well. aquariustraveller.com/cairns-itinerary/
This is actually listed in order of viewing so balancing rock beach is in between Ellis beach and Rex lookout. Weird that it was listed on Google maps when I went but could have been changed. Rock Stacking is still listed there 😁👍
Could anyone advise me places to visit, i am coming to visit great barrier reef on july for a holiday/week and i want to explore nearby. Any recommendations plz
This video is based just on the great barrier reef drive between cairns and Cape Tribulation...but the actual reef stretches along the coast for over 2000 km.. if you search in my videos on the city or towns your visiting, you'll find plenty of things to do. Or tell me which city, I can direct you from there
