I don't know if anyone has already answered this, but to answer your question about the hexagon: when you connect the corners of the hexagon it creates "EXO" on the inside, well they don't connect the middle line fully for the "O". Other than that I believe it's just a design thing and as far as I remember a member of EXO came up with that.

But since he is really good at dancing, he sometimes gets dance solos during their concerts.
