Is Skyrim worth downloading? I don’t feel like spending five hours modding just to have skse break because the game got another update twelve years after release

It doesn't require modding. The game has more than enough on its own.

skyrim is so perfectly imperfect without modding it that modding it just ruins it. If you've never played skyrim before you have to play it vanilla first or you're ruining it for yourself.
