Cold weather range is no joke. I need to move to Cali or Nevada
To significantly decrease range loss during cold weather, use your app to turn on the climate prior to operating the car (preferably while the car is plugged in).
This is my next car! I can not wait!!

The idle charge on supercharger network is active when 50% level of chargers are occupied and then a 5 minute grace period before the idle charges begins.
Always use the taper charge cycle for the supercharger travel: meaning that you charge until the charge taper start then unplug and go to the next charger and repeat the process all of the way through the trip process.
I’m glad you mentioned that the cruise control speed does not disengage when moving the wheel. My wife and I had the same experience test driving a Model Y. We pulled into a parking lot and it started to accelerate, which really caught us off guard.

About the last point, I think it is purposely designed that way. It allows you to change lanes and pass the slow car in front of u without suddenly losing speed. And after the lane is changed, just a simple double tap down, u can resume auto pilot. The car will remain the same speed during the whole process and everything is seamless. I would not wany them to change this behavior.

Welcome to the Tesla family, you will not be disappointed, not only is it a fantastic car, there are just so many advantages to owning a Tesla, from the over the air updates, phone key & remote operation to control various functions, to schedule services via the app, to the use of an exclusive supercharging network of chargers throughout the country & everywhere in the world where their cars are sold! So I’ve been driving my Tesla model 3 now for over 2 years & I am always thrilled every time I get into it! It just doesn’t get old & I am the envy of my neighborhood! It is the fastest way to become a celebrity! So driving a Tesla is unlike anything you’ve ever driven before, it is truly taking humankind to a place where no human has ever gone before & it’s only going to get better!

I received push notifications for new messages from service center last week. I’d double check your phone settings to make sure your phone and app is allowed to send push notifications.
Hmm this is interesting. I've checked all of the IOS settings, as well as the Tesla app settings and all seems to be turned on. I've also searched on a variety of forums and a lot of other people seem to be having this issue as well. Are you on an android device, by chance?

I get service messaging alerts. Just had a back and forth with service center 2 days ago.
I also get push notifications. Make sure the Tesla app has push turned on in your phone settings. Just had a great conversation with my local SC this way.

For us, it got down to about 35 deg F.
Good thing about tesla : you are independent of price fluctuations on gasoline.
You are not supporting global terrorism and militancy in middle East due to oil conflict.
You are using a low maintenance vehicle and have the least amount of time spent at a dealership haggling for price.
You are wrong about the logistic of the cruise control when you use the steering wheel only. Many drivers want just to steer and keep the same speed when taking control of only the steering wheel.
It is absolutely notmal and correct for the speed to decrease but only when you use the brake pedal.
Your "want" in this last case is flawed.

Sounds like you have had numerous reasons to contact Teslas service... May I ask why?
Sure. For early builds of the Model Y, Tesla faced some challenges with production quality (Check out my video here that explains that: ruclips.net/video/rD3QWERSxik/видео.html). The build quality has now improved and most Model Y owners that purchase now don't face these issues, but last year when the vehicle first released, a lot of new owners had to contact service quite a bit.
@@DanielsBrew Thanks for your prompt and honest answer. Seems to me Tesla owners become so enthusiastic about their car that they accept some minor quality issues. Have been driving combustion cars for 46 years and I guess I am somewhat picky....
