In the anime and manga, Flame Swordsman, Giltia and many others are not Fusions. They were simply hamfisted into Fusions when Konami printed them into the card game, just to fill out the number of Fusion Monster's in the game.
I recall them being both, sometimes having a yellow border sometimes having a purple border
@@cruz5531 The 4Kids dub would colour correct them to how they are in the real card game, as it came out after the cards were printed, unlike the manga and Japanese dub of the anime. Where most cards you see appear there first, and are made real later.
If you look at it, every Fusion that's treated as a Fusion in the Anime/Manga in Duelist Kingdom, actually makes sense with its Fusion Materials. While the cards that are only Fusions in the actual card game, have almost nonsensical Fusion Materials.

By some miracle I actually managed to answer two of these questions correctly. You would have to REALLY like the Duel Monsters anime to do well on this one.
I knew that Knight of the Queen and X head canon along with Mariks 700 LP. Had this episodes recorded on VHS and watched them so often as a child XD

Ironically if Ishizu hadn’t used her two Muko against CCV and Virus cannon, she probably could’ve won the duel, since CCV wasn’t really a major threat after her strategy, and neither was Virus cannon

A thought: For the final question, why not make both players wager their current points that way whoever is behind has a chance to come back should the player in the lead get the question wrong?

Monsters compatible with Mountain, Forest or Meadow receive a 30% Field Power Bonus. This includes Beast, Beast-Warrior, Dragon, Insect, Plant, Thunder, Warrior and Winged Beast-Type monsters.
Turn 2: Mai
Mai Normal Summons "Harpie Lady" (1300 → 1690/1400 → 1820) in Attack Position.
Turn 4: Mai
Mai draws. She then Sets a card ("Cyber Shield").
Turn 6: Mai
Mai activates her face-down "Cyber Shield", equipping it to "Harpie Lady" and increasing its ATK and DEF by 500 ("Harpie Lady": 1690 → 2190/1820 → 2320).
Turn 8: Mai
Mai activates her face-down "Elegant Egotist" to turn one "Harpie Lady" into three "Harpie Ladies" (1300 → 2190/1400 → 2320 for newly Summoned "Harpie Ladies") in Attack Position. None of Mai's monsters can attack during this turn due to "Elegant Egotist's" effect.
Turn 9: Joey
Joey draws "Time Wizard" and subsequently Normal Summons it (500/400) in Attack Position. Joey then activates the effect of "Time Wizard" and succeeds at the effect. Since the effect of "Time Wizard" was activated successfully, "Baby Dragon" is turned into "Thousand Dragon" (2400/2000). Doing this also ages Mai's "Harpie Ladies", reducing their ATK to their original value ("Harpie Ladies": 2190 → 1300/2320). "Thousand Dragon" attacks and destroys all three "Harpie Ladies" (Mai: 2000 → 0 LP).
For the 4 star duelist question couldn't Joey technically be an answer since the guy in the shop altered Joey's rank???
But Joey's file didn't come up when the Rare Hunter was looking through the database.

The Duelist Kingdom questions were quite difficult, but the Battle City questions were easier. Although, it might be because I revisit Battle City more.

I’m such a nerd since I nailed almost every question. I only kind of messed up 3 questions since I said Komouri Dragon instead of the dragon piper, I missed weevil in the 3 4 star duelists (Mai and Maka Tsunami were the obvious choices and funny enough all the 4 star players were people that Joey defeated lol), and I knew the question about the 2nd strongest zombie but I didn’t know it’s name since it was never said in the anime. I know before it turned into a zombie it was called zanki but it was then renamed Armored Zombie like how crawling dragon was renamed into the dragon zombie and Crass Clown was renamed into Clown Zombie. But it was worth it since even after all these years my memories of the show are still solid. I also really loved the Umbra question it almost stumped me 😂😊

15:13 I personally think the question is unfair in how it’s hard enough to remember events and cards names in the show but expecting something so specific as HOW… Unless you have just freshly watched through the series or have a photographic memory- strikes me as a unfair question to ask…

Idk, I think this stuff with taking a quiz on a show would be more interesting and fun if the questions were more on the side of things one might actually have a reasonable chance of remembering…
Like for example; in Yugi and the pharaoh’s final duel, one has a chance of remembering that Yuki used Slifer the Sky dragon’s trigger ability to beat the Egyptian god trio but remembering one or all of the cards used to do it… Yeah, less you watched it recently- next to no chance imo…
Or in one episode Bakura asked Yuki & company to name one card that they felt was most like them (or something along those line) Yugi named Dark Magician, Bakura named Change of heart, Joey named Flame Swordsmen (I think); I just forget Tia (Angel of faith?) & that other guy’s choice… But some things one has a chance to remember… But idk about the answers to some things that seem like such minor, not so memorable facts… Facts that can be considered minor and irrelevant, like the first card played by Yuki & Kiba as those cards played no real important or memorable role and were just insignificant facts/ parts in the duel, just low lvl monsters to kick things off…

The Dark Magician Girl question was only half the answer, he used Dark Magicial Curtain, yes, but he cheated her out.
Arkana draws and activates Dark Magic Curtain, summons Dark Magician. Arkana uses Anti-Magic Arrows to stop yugi from using his spells or traps. Arkana attacks directly.
THEN Yugi uses Arkana's Dark Magic Curtain to summon Dark Magician Girl... a spell that resolved and should be in the grave 2 moves ago... that he doesn't controll.... in the battle phase.... during an attack.... King of games
