I tie this fly without the bead, it's just as effective on the trout. I catch 90 percent of my trout with this fly. It's my favorite. I don't leave home without them.

One white biot tip was pointing up, and the other was pointing down. Was this deliberate? I liked the extra herl just behind the bead.
