- This is part 176 of the series (Boxes 335-336). It was awesome being able to hunt a few penny boxes from Michigan, as well as finding some odler pennies. Keep hunting and good luck! They're still out there for us to find! Penny Hunt and Fill Video Playlist: • Hunt and Fill Pennies

Hey, I want to start investing but don't know where to begin. Any advice or contacts for help?
Talking to an expert like Meltem Demirors to reshape your portfolio is a smart move.
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Mrs Meltem) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her 😊 from United States
She's always on wat~sapp🇺🇸

Nice finds. Thanks for sharing.
Got a 1933 King George V penny this week from the bank.
Great Michigan boxes 📦
Fun hunt, Rob! Always nice to find an oldie or two.
840,000 Cents searched , WOW .
Great copper haul😀🇺🇸
Rob,I love penny hunts and yes I will watch all of the video, good sir keep them coming!
Thank you!
It goes to show, you never know what you'll find. Thanks for the nice penny video.
Nice hunt, enjoyed your video. Great finds 😊
Love your videos rob especially the penny hunts. Inching closer to 1 million cents searched wow
Rob I'm a long time watcher. Love watching the hunt. I just ordered some of your mats on ebay to help me out a little better. I've learned a lot. Thank you.
Man... sixty Canadian pennies... that's more than a whole roll of them! Something funny going on here😅 Someone's coming up somewhere!
Albeit VERY slowly.😅
There's something pleasantly satisfying about the possibilities in a pile of pennies you haven't searched yet.
We are curious rob, how much or many copper pennies do you think you’ve collected over the years, would love to see an updated video
here's the last update: ruclips.net/user/shortsU-t0IawQm_4
I find quite a few shiny copper pennies in my home state Illinois. Canadian pennies are a tough find in the Midwest. I searched three penny boxes last week from three branches of my bank in the Chicagoland area. I think I found maybe thirty wheat cents in total. It was a tough hunt. I found under ten Canadians and quite a bit of copper memorials. In less than two years. I filled two home depot buckets with copper pennies. 1969 pennies are common in Illinois. I find atleast 5 1959 pennies in every box.
As always an enjoyable video Rob! Happy Hunting, Stephen
I just searched my third box of pennies I’ve ever done and strangely I got a 1945 PDS set just like you did! After 42 1/2 years of searching at banks I first started getting boxes in April because I’m having a hard time getting them in lesser amounts. Each box has gotten progressively worse but I still got more than your boxes today. I got 29, 17, and 15 respectively in all three boxes. This last box I did yesterday didn’t have any coins before 1940. Bummer!
Nice Canadian finds good sir!
Nice 👍👍❤️
1 million pennies searched is pretty legit. I broke a 4+ decade old glass carboy full of ~1980 and prior pennies a few months back, I've been sorting them and I don't even feel like I've dented the first box I filled, which is smaller than the 2nd box I filled cleaning up the pile of pennies. It's an absolutely super-fun search though, since it was all change my family threw in (as far as I know) over the years... I know I filled the top 20% as a toddler!
That is awesome brother! Happy hunting!
Just did my first 2 box penny hunt today. Got 31 bright and shiny’s, 17 wheat cents (plus a 1935 and a steel cent), and 6 canadians. Had a little over 6 pounds of copper at the end. 1 wheat cent ender and one canadian cent ender from Chase Bank.
Edit: i forgot to mention that 5 of the rolls were completely copper coins only
Very nice!
A steel cent on only your second box. Unheard of. Congrats.
@@nickfrost9771oh it was in the first one. The second wheat penny that i found in fact
Imagine the stories those 100+ year old pennies can tell and where they traveled!
The copper mine is OPEN!
Dude i finally got my 1938 S (nickel) today. I give you permission to continue this hot streak with a 50D!
I'm solid on my canadian small cents except for very early, and very late. So I guess it's not just me, and not just you!
How do you know which ones are all copper
I got a 1915-S in a recent box!!
Nice!!!
Had a box today all 21 D except for 35. Very annoying
Hey Rob, I have been watching for a couple years now and enjoyed every video. I live on the east coast of North Carolina and was wondering if you would like to trade a couple boxes of cents to hunt? The boxes I get have mostly Philadelphia mint and I find quite a few varieties and wheats cents (usually). I work with Chuck Daughtrey. Most people into Lincoln cents know him. Let me know if you would like to trade? Thanks for everything you do for this industry.
Hi rob!
Hi Drew!
That's crazy you haven't found any 2007, 2008 or 2012 Canadians. They were minted in the 100's of millions. More Michigan or New England boxes should fill some holes eventually. FYI, the 2010 steel is NIFC. It's one of three missing from my modern Canadians, along with the 2006-P and the 2007 zinc, which are both really low mintage.
And look at my little friend got me
Rob, I found a 1920 penny wheat worth any thing?
In average, circulated condition, it's worth about 20 cents.
Watch out for those cheap steel slugs clad with nickle from Canada…
Those people are getting screwed….
MICHIGAN BOXES??
I have 1983 1999
✌️
Anyone interested in a 55DDO? Just got it back from PCGS.
I am now IN Michigan…hope your penny boxes better than the MI b😅ces I have been getting
First! Lol
Your penny hunts end too quickly 🥺
Why do you keep saying "STATE"?🙉
LOL, you must not be a Spartan fan!
@@mrnoliver9 Exactly!GO BLUE!
Why does the copper pennies matter value of copper wise when it's illegal to scrap them...?
Why not hang on to something worth 3½x what you paid? We will discontinue cents someday, & copper prices will likely keep increasing. 🤷🏼
You can scrap them, but you cant sell the scraps
@RaymondReddington-et3un We couldn't gamble, buy cars or liquor on Sundays, or smoke weed in MN until recently, & Canada minted its last penny in May of 2012, so who knows... 👍
@@mrnoliver9 perhaps in the future, but certainly not now
Over 12 years later, and it's still illegal to scrap/melt pennies here in Canada.
Got a 1914 penny is it worth anything
In average condition, about 75 cents. In uncirculated shape (mint state), around $20.
I found a 1909 VDB in my last box. Honestly kinda blew me away, even though I know it's not THAT rare.
First?
Yes, and BOOM! 💥
I just turned 69years old and you got me back into coin collecting. I just went through a gallon jar of change I’ve been collecting. I never expected to find any silver dimes or quarters. Like you always do. But I found my first silver dime, two 40% silver half dollars and a 35% silver nickel. I just picked up from my bank my first box of nickels and another of quarters. And ordered a box of half dollars. I’m addicted and need to order more of your mats. I always enjoy your videos, keep ‘em comin’!
Old penny coins found? Are you searching British coins? ...Cents. 🤦
I honestly have to say, Michigan has seriously good pennies. Cant say much for the Dimes, Nickels and Quarters and definitely not for the Halves but the pennies are good.
Man I just know that 69S DDO is gonna happen one day. If anyone deserves it, it’s RFT!!! 👍
That was a pretty good hunt. Nine wheaties per box is decent - and a teens wheatie with a mint mark - you can't get mad at that! And, a 1920's wheatie as an add-on. And dang! That was a TON of Canadians! That was a sweet 1960-D - too bad it wasn't a variety. Another great video!
What years of penny’s have copper in them?
All 1981 and earlier. Some 1982’s.
@@RobFindsTreasure thank you sir!
Great penny video Rob! Thanks!
great hunt found a few older wheatbacks and better than a full roll of Canadians onto the next hunt
Why does YT keeps unsubing me from you Rob?
I enjoy your videos. Keep the series going.
Rob, I’m from Michigan. I love doing penny hunts. I’ve been saving all the copper for a few years now. The few coin shops by me are uninterested in purchasing copper. I’ve branched out down into Indiana and Ohio as well. Is there someone who is willing to buy pennies that doesn’t need to be shipped too?
R u just wanting to find them yourself or can anyone help you
It’s going to get very hard to find Canadian small cents since they have discounted making them for some time now.
Good hunt brother, congrats on all the copper you found 👍
How did I miss this hunt? I glad I rewatch you stuff regularly.
Thank you brother!
👍
I found my first 2024 penny in circulation! Did you find any?
I have a 2024 (P) cent. I haven't seen any other 2024 coins. I live 25 miles from the Philadelphia Mint.
I'm in Horsham, PA. You're about 40 miles north of me.
I found one on the ground today lol
Yes, pennies, quarters and nickels so far. No dimes or halfs yet.
Was it a cent? British coins are pennies.
A
Boom not boom😢
pew pew!
I wish I didn't say you jinxed it before you... you know... jinxed it! Thanks for the hunt! And I thought my last box of pennies had a ton of canadian cents. I hope you all are safe after the weather this morning! Good luck in your future hunts!
Good stuff, Rob…I found a 1997-D doubled ear in a box a couple of days ago, so that was welcome
Holy cow brother! Nice find. That one (1997) is on my bucket list. Ironically, I scoped so many 1997's in this hunt hoping for one!
Hopefully, that is what it is….This is actually the second one I have found….I scoped them both several times, and I can’t think of anything else they could be, because you can definitely see two ear lobes, whereas on others of the same year and mintmark, nothing….If I can get a photo off of my magnifier, I would like you to be the judge, because you know more than I do
Great wheat penny hunt album fill congratulations on getting 6 lbs and 15 Oz of copper pennies and nice older wheat pennies 15 and 23 thanks for sharing Rob

I have a 44 steal Rob!!!
