I've watched these videos a few times on this channel and every time I watch them I am filled with nostalgia and reminded how amazing the modding community is.
Don't be afraid to be a little longer. since im not gonna tune into the stream, sometimes i wanna see the obstacle be finished even if i know its inevitable
Dude, I adore the idea of this being a highlight and just by the fact that we just see the raw gameplay and your raw comment it makes it feels like a regular let's play but now It's even better!!!

I am so glad to see this channel alive again. If I may though? The constant jump cuts make this extremely hard to watch. Nothing feels coherent because everything is skipping forward at seemingly random intervals of time between cuts. There's no "viewer experience" here to follow each level through the natural progression, at least to me. It just sort of feels disjointed due to the constant skipping. Maybe I'm alone in this thought though? I feel like I'd rather there be more downtime between commentary and less cuts than more cuts and no downtime on commentary.
Highlight reels are generally like that; this isn't necessarily a "let's play" editing format. I do wish it was in that editing style though, that would be a lot more coherent.
@@DaizoDeeVonOfficial You raise a fair point, I guess this type of content just isn't for me. I am more akin to the original lets play format. The constant jump cuts just make this hard for me personally to enjoy.
All good. I do like the "let's play" format better myself for all the reasons you stated, and you can edit a stream in that way. I guess you could argue why one should make that kind of video when the full streams are up, but as you say it's good to still see the game without having to watch an unedited stream for 4 hours straight.
These are fun if you already know the game ahead of time, but not when you haven't seen the game before. I'm with you there.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this, I love AntDude, but this episode is over-edited and borderline incoherent.
I'm fine with highlight reel style LPs, but they need to be more long form. More than 5-20 seconds of continuous gameplay would be nice.
Edit: And yes, there's the other channel, and yeah, I'll probably stick to that one in the future. This is just my feedback on this particular style of video.
Just watch the raw stream footage then, duh!

Glad to see this channel back! Even if it's just highlights of your streams, I'm just happy to see you play games again, and we can choose if we want to see the streams (live or even in the archive) or these videos.
Didn't know there were checkpoints in this hack, neat. It'll become really useful in more difficult levels in later worlds (if there are any checkpoints in there, of course).
Also, random thought, having the Angry Sun as World 2's boss reminded me of Mole Mania.

I've never watched any of your Gameplay based videos but I've watched many of your reviews and ROM Hack videos, anyway the point I'm trying to convey is you seem far more like yourself than a good portion of other Reveiw/Gameplay based Channels. Which to me and a lot of other people is a good thing.

Those checkpoints were not there in the original version I'm pretty sure lol. I still have only the original version and those checkpoints aren't there.

I think that Mario 64 can actually lend pretty well to tight controls due to the many types of jumps you have, but it's mainly the camera that's the issue
