You say actually a lot 😂 but I'm not here to down play. So I'll say it myself because those new lights ACTUALLY changed the entire look of that truck. I'm sold...🤙
@@AndrewDoesLife ordered a set with LED replacement bulbs today. Good video and I appreciate your ability to experiment with Amazon products. Especially since I have the same generation F-150.
i just got some bar steps for my 05 looking up side flares and now headlights and bull guard. and rims.i like your rims i was looking at same ones on a truck site. wanted to see who all used various tires before lifting them get an idea what looks good and what doesn't.about to put it in shop get clutch replaced.i got a question what to do with your gauges goes stupid on you.
I put the same style of headlights on my 08 F150...they are crap. I had to take them back off and reseal them. Moisture built up on the inside. Plus I had to swap out some of the seals. I did not luck out like you. Anyways, love you truck, man. I've been trucking mine out for awhile now. She's looking real beastly. Feels good to do the work yourself, ya know. Keep it up, bro.
Ebay really is hit or miss with this type of stuff. They look great on your truck I always wanted to do get some headlights with black housings. I really hope you don’t have the same experience as me.
Yeah I went back and forth and it took me awhile to find ones that had black housing but not like blacked or smoked out lenses which I didn’t want! Every review in those said they couldn’t hardly see anything at night. I might just buy some sealant from Home Depot just to make sure these don’t get moisture
What model 2004-2008 f150 are these headlights for? Ford Heritage, Lariat, etc..... I want to buy them from your link but I'm not sure if they will fit.
I tell everyone to seal the headlights themselves with some sort of sealant from like Home Depot before installing the headlights. It’s super cheap and in my case has prevented the moisture issue from arising
How are these holding up for you? Have you had any leaking or condensation problems since it tends to rain there often? I'm looking into replacing my 07 FX4 headlights now and to be completely honest, I trust your opinion more than anyone. Thanks for posting great videos. Very informative and with great passion for your truck.
Hey Ken, I would recommend sealing them once you get them, but other than that they are great headlights! I have had no issues with them after sealing them myself

Hey man. I'm thinking of getting an 11gen f150, 04-08. I see you recommend replacing the spark plugs. Is there any other known issues with this gen that you know of? I also heard about these engines having issues, is that true? Is it better to get the 08 if I can find one? Ive heard that the last gen is usually the best one to get for any car.
Hey man, as far as typical problems with this truck goes, the spark plugs and the oil pumps are usually the main problems with the 5.4 triton v8 engine. They also made this truck with a 4.2 and a 4.6 liter engine option so as far as those are concerned I’m not sure if they have the same issues as the 5.4 triton engine. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not the ultimate expert on these trucks but I can say from experience if you take care of them they will last for a long time. As long as it was taken good care if I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one. You are correct that usually the last model is the best model in any generation or car or truck.

Hey Matthew! They are great quality headlights, I would suggest sealing them yourself when you get them to ensure the moisture never gets in. Other than that, they are really good headlights and I would buy them again
Hey Mopar, I'll tell you what I tell everyone haha these trucks are great trucks as long as they've been maintained well. The major things I would want to know before buying the truck you mentioned was: Have they changed out the factory spark plugs yet? Do you have records showing you got your oil changes when you were supposed to? The spark plugs would be the biggest cause of concern for me as it could set you back a ton of money to replace them if they are still driving around with the factory ones in. They are notorious for breaking in half and causing a mess when trying to replace them. These trucks can easily last to 200k and plus if you take care of them. Good luck buying your truck!
Andrew Does Life thanks!!. Would it be easy just to take it to ford dealership to change the spark plugs? O is it too expensive?. Or you wouldn’t trust them?
I don't want to speak for all dealerships because there are good ones out there... However if it were me I would not do that. I was quoted like $1,200-$1,400 to replace them and they told me they were going to do all this extra stuff to access the spark plugs which just wasn't true. I only took it to them because I didn't have the time to replace them myself.. I wound up paying my buddy who has his own auto repair shop to do it for like $400/$500. Replacing the factory ones will be a bit pricey regardless, but taking it to a dealership to get replaced is just asking to get ripped off lol

For the turn signal bulb they make Silver shaded bulbs that blink yellow, so you don’t get the Sunnyside up egg look and they are perfectly legal.

when it says quantity 1 does that mean only 1 headlight, or does that mean 1 set of headlights
