Very cool, I have it on my radar, def want to do this hack brother, thanks for showing us! I did a similar thing for my gf's amazon tablet, not for gaming but opening it up for better usage.
@@carlo1132 if woot gets more back in stock i will ping you. $27 is a great price for this. I believe it can run emulation up to ps1. I am looking to buy a third 😂
Nice one, but I m sure I Sean an android 11 install on this somewhere on RUclips for a Home Assistant tablet. It would be nice Maybe will have Google Assistant voice, to control the Home Assistant 😅
Hello!, im running into a problem, after flashing the image successfully on step 11, i turn off the machine and proceed to connect it again. Once it shows up again in QFIL i go to tools but the partition manager option does not show. I have seen images of it on the internet but it does not show up to me. Any ideas? Windows 11 Pro by the way. Thank you for the video!
I have one with android 8 for about 1 year now that is working for Home Assistant but I will like to use Google Assistant you know stai in the sofas and tell Google to close the shades 😅. I can buy a cheap tablet maybe with android 13 but is not the same the Lenovo one is perfect😅
Pretty cool that they found amother use for these. 8g of storage, That's rough. Not sure if was mentioned, how much of the 8gb is left after installing the OS. I have an old 8gb Fire Tablet with 8gb, flashed play store on it, and it has very little space after updates. Personally, I would probably spend a few more dollars on something with a bit more storage.

@@MrEd20901 I forgot to mention it but you are left with half the space after android is installed. Its a negative for sure but i am still able to have dozens of roms installed at once. I am making one device all multimedia apps and the other one just emulation
These were good instructions. I thought I had bricked the tab, but I followed your instructions again and got it installed. Thank you.
@@cryptotrading3369 nice so happy to have helped you!
thanks so much for this video guide! i managed to follow it along really great and now my device is succesfully rooted :D
Pretty neat little device. I bet it would make a great home automation device as well
Indeed it is, the Home Assistant community has been tinkering away at this device as well
Nice video Kev! Yet another way to play our favorite games without having to spend a fortune on crappy 1ups!
and that is the real victory here ! 🤣
