The ending is so sad, but some people would consider themselves lucky if that happened to them, for maybe all of their family members died, or they were separated God bless the unlucky people who didn’t have anything or anybody, and hopefully start a new life
I thought the ending was perfect because it's sad and it should be but it leaves off with hope for the future. Parvana and Nurullah reuniting with the rest of the family, Shauzia able to get away and finally see a beach. The girls able to get to a place where they will be able to grow their hair long again and be free... Not all of that is going to happen but some of it might
This movie and the story itself was amazing to me, I would watch almost all the time. But once I discovered that it was taken off of Netflix, I was not happy. I'm curious on why the movie was taken off.... I hope it will get back on Netflix soon, so I can see it one more time.
Despite my gender as male:the way women were treated still makes me angry and the line,"is there women present, cover yourself up!"still scares and breaks me up 💔 😢 😔 😞 😱 😨 😢
I've never been to Iran but my family is from there originally. I notice almost no difference between Parsi, Dari and Tajik. Is there a reason why the Afghans don't like the Iranians?
God even listening to the delivery of their lines moved me to tears. This is such a gorgeous heart wrenching film
