I have the Flinders Ranges in my head. From stories my Dad told me. He would hunt in the ranges with his mates for days eating rabbit and beans, 14yo’s with 22s.. I visited once and met my grandad in Port Pirie, we went rabbit trapping, I’ll never forget it as my Dad was in a wheelchair so that experience with a able man, my grandad was everlasting. I’ll be back, it’s so beautiful, I need to experience it on the bike I really felt this! Thank you

@@hansverhoeven5156g'day mate. My camera gear is always changing but in this video I'm pretty sure I was running a GoPro 10 and 11 plus a Sony video camera. I run a modified lead that allows me to tap into the Cardo communication system and splits my audio into the left input of my helmet camera. The right channel going into my helmet camera is everything that comes through the cardo. Music, GPS alerts, other riders etc. Then I edit the video to have both channels overlayed. Seems to work quite well.

Good pickup mate. You like? I’ve been developing a hard wired system between the Cardo and whatever camera I am using. Anything that comes through the Cardo whether it’s incoming conversation or the GPS signals go into one channel on the camera and my voice goes into the other. I then combine them during editing. I think I’ve just about got it where I want it. Take care my friend👍👍

Were you runn ing stiock gearing for that trip ? I am crossing the Nullarbor (on the way to Tassie) on my T7 in the future so have raised the gearing by going one up on the front and down two on the rear. What are your thoughts on this ? Seems to pull okay still, with no obvious ill effects on the fuel consumption so far. Hopefully I stay drier than you !

Also, in my experience the Prairie hotel isn’t very bike friendly.
They have fuel, but only if you’re driving a 4wD wanking chariot and they can sell you $300 bucks worth of diesel.
Apparently it wasn’t worth their time filling dirt bikes the last time we called in for a beer.
Luckily we made it home ok, but it could have been nasty if we were stuck with not enough fuel.
    Pretty good food though.
