    I had awful trouble with my triumph putting on stand a few years back until I rolled bike back wheel onto a inch high bit of wood, made it so much easier to put on stand, Hope this can help you 😊

      I saw a post on adventure bike site about putting bike on centre stand, put on side and put a rock in front of front wheel,to stop it rolling forward, lay bike over on sidestand and lower center stand. I'll see if I can find the link

    Great video guys. Yes the petrol prices are ridiculous. On our last trip I filled my bike and Amanda’s bike $78 bloody rip off. Ride safe

    Great area to travel in. Tip when lifting on centre stand. Try using the pillion peg to lift with.

    Just tuned into your vids and I’m loving them. I’ve traveled a lot of the country on motorcycle and it gives me a thrill to see you doing the same. The Darling river run (nsw) and outback S.A are my favourite places too ride. Al

    Great video again guys. I carry a small 20mm thick block of wood in my Tenere pannier and roll the back wheel onto that before trying to lift the bike onto the centre stand. That or just roll it onto a rock or pile of sand. By the way, I had a Goldwing GL1800 and that weighed 900lbs/400kg, but the centre stand geometry made it easy to put it on the main stand.

      Thanks! Someone else on here also mentioned the block of wood trick so I'm definitely going to give it a try. 400kg! we thought our bikes were heavy, sounds like the Goldwing has a better designed centre stand lol

    Another great vid guys. Every bike is a little different for getting on the centre stand, some good tips below, but my personal experience is get rid of the boxes first even 20kg can make a big difference. Looking forward to your next episode bc I just love the Flinders Ranges.

    The adventure continues. Great looking country. How much weight do you have on those bikes? Are they at thier max?

    • @TinaandJason
      @TinaandJason  Год назад +1

      It sure is!
      With the panniers, top box and duffle bag maybe an extra 50 - 60kgs depending on how much food and water we are carrying. Then we have the jerry cans which carry an extra 12 liters on Franco and 6 liters on Arnie. Apparently the limit that its designed for is 365kg including rider and bike, so we're definitely close.
