Genesis turns into a gigantic monster, wielding a sword the size of a building, and instead of attacking Zack with it, he patiently watches as he gets obliterated. Bravo Square!
I'm gonna be completely honest. I have no earthly idea why Crisis Core's soundtrack goes so f***ing hard. They could've easily decided to make a bunch of generic battle music, but instead they went HAM. *_The Price of Freedom_* continues to be one of my favorite songs in the FF 7 compilation even to this day. Square has it's ups and downs, but the music always hits when it counts 😢😢
its everything from the break out of shinra manor the moonlight wandering soundtrack and under the apple tree hit so hard in the build up leading to that final encounter with genesis to hear this bop then the downfall where you just gotta listen hard to the price of freedom and lastly ... why :')
The reason why is because Square does *not* fuck around when it comes to their Final Fantasy sound tracks, and Takeharu Ishimoto was not having Nobuo Uematsu's name be blemished by *POOR COMPOSITION* He wanted the music to slap as hard as the thickest steak you could imagine coming up and walloping you right across the FACE!
I was fucking around with the volume settings when I was listening through in the song to make sure any of the loops weren't *too* bad. I know the first one is like, mega noticable, lol. I'll get around to fixing it all together and just having it sound nice and smooth.
Is there ANYWHERE a "Those who fight further CC/ Fight on! CC/ The Summoned" Extended Version?! I mean, I love that Soundtrack to DEATH but I can only find the 3 Minute Versions D: I just want to listening to it a bit longer...
Something tells me that people are about to find out how hard this song bangs
winter can't come soon enough
