Hello Jharna, it is very good that you are learning investing..But please ye upar waale comment pe kabhi bhi message mat karna..ye log bohot bade thug hai..aur ye akshat sir ke naam se fake account chalaate hai...maine apne 5000 kho diye inke chakkar mai..please never focus on these fake accounts..and never message them..
One question- why you did not consider the tax rate while suggesting the investment in FDs. For ppl in 30% tax slab 7% interest rate would come down to even less than 5% which makes no sense at all and obviously can't beat the inflation at all. Am I missing anything here? Thoughts?

Then what is your advice for Short term goals other than FD where liquidity is required?

I was thinking of investing in FD as the interest rates are high now and I agree that the interest rates will not go too high from now. However, I did not think about G-sec. Thanks for opening my eyes.
You can get good returns in Shriram unnati fixed deposit (NBFC) it's as high as 8.3% for 5ys deposit. But I advise always have 50% money in index mutual fund or Index ETF, as no one can predict the market.

Thanks for the informative video Akshat, please also make some content on what shall be the idle or suggested portfolio with break-up for individuals under different age groups under different asset class, secondly I think its always better to keep some part of portfolio in assets like gold maybe 3~5% for benefitting in unknown circumstances like pandemic/wars situations etc.

How do you know that inflation in US will not bounce back? Please look at the past inflation spikes in USA and see how it fluctuates, it does not fall monotonically. What you are saying is that inflation is truly transitory? Unemployment numbers in US have not moved and inflation is coming down? People suddenly decided to stop spending on basic goods and services despite them having enough money?

Mai MF me Invest karata hi nahi hun ,aapka vedio ,zerodha wale Professor Mohd sab ka vedio dekhata hun ,Qtr ke Result , Revenue ,profit ,Roe Roce ,Macd ,RSI dekhata hun , 8,10 sal Tak ke Low ,High dekhata hun । YoY ,Q on Q growth hai share purchase kar leta hun ।
Problem sirf Profit book karneki hai
Kab karana yah nahi samjhata ।
Share badhata hai fir gir jaata hai ।
