    Hello,
At 14 🧒, I founded my first business and sold thousands of comics. Ran it for 3 years.
2004, I felt proud of getting a gold medal for my B.Tech from NIT Jaipur in Metallurgy. 💪
I got hired by a steel company. 11 months into it, I couldn’t stand the heat, dust, and noise. 😔
The gold medal I achieved didn’t help me. 4 years of my engineering felt wasted. 😢
    I quit. 🤞
2005, I got into a tier 3 MBA school BIMM Pune. Got hired by Mindtree as a Business Analyst. 😊
2010 changed my life and I came to London and became a proud Londoner since then. 😊
Over 14 years, I grew into an IT leader and currently spend my 9-6 as an IT delivery Manager 👨💻

non sense! if you consider taxation, non of your hypothesis is going to work let alone beat the inflation. fixed deposit can still be a better option. at least as of now (7th march 2023), repo rate is high and banks have been giving good fd returns since last one year. liquid funds are not very lucrative. I had to pay big chunk in taxes, so I know this with first hand experience.

Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down. It might be wiser for a novice to start with copy trading investing, but it is not easy. To invest in growth stocks it is another level, definitely you need to know what are you doing.

From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. so far i've made over $255k in raw profits from just 6 months into the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key for short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.

She is a popular broker you might have heard of. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as a financial advisor as her diversification skills are top notch, because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis, unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along, my portfolio just mirrors what she trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.

Thanks for your video. (1) I have an observation. Let us assume we want to invest Rs 10 lakhs for a short term say about 3 to 4 months. FD rate in banks is about 4.5% and expected return on liquid MFs / Ultra funds is 7.5%. The difference in the proceeds = 10,00,000X(7.5-4.5)/(4*100) = Rs 7500. The expected gain Viz., Rs 7.500 is too small to entice an investor to take the pains. (2) Secondly if the period of investment is increased to about 1.0 year to 2 years, FDR is about 7.1% in many banks whereas the return on debt funds is also approximately same. Even after considering the saving on account of IT, the gain is only marginal and certainly not enticing . Therefore, at the moment, these debt funds are not attractive. If the interest rates come down in future, the status may change. I shall be grateful if you can give your views to correct myself. (3) Kindly give your views on investing on Bank nifty funds in the long term horizon say 5 to 8 years.

Better not to replace emergency fund with liquid fund. As,
    i. From emergency fund you don't expect return, it is on instant availability without limit. Liquid fund has maximum 50k limit for insta redemption.
ii. From taxation point of view there is no exempt in liquid fund. It attracts long, short capital gain tax.
iii. From security perspective and volatility perspective liquid fund has no match with savings account.
iv. Unless you have large corpus liquid fund is not that useful.

Most liquid funds have T+1 or T+2 at max redemption time. You don't need to invest 100% of the emergency fund in liquid mutual funds. Keep 10% cash, 25% in bank and the rest in liquid funds. For the 1-2 days of redemption you can use a credit card for any payments and when the liquid funds are in bank then pay the credit card bill.
About tax, STCG and LTCG tax are applied on gains from equity linked funds which invest in share market. This is debt fund and taxed according to your tax slabs, just like FD.
