I was born at Allen Hospital in Oberkin in 1948. WE MOVED to Akron, Ohio in 1952, but I hadly remember any of thay. We live on N. Pleasant and Park Strret.
Oberlin is actually slightly southwest of Cleveland, about 7 miles south of the Ohio Turnpike on Ohio Route 58. It’s only about 14 miles from Lorain and 12 miles from Elyria. I was born there and I know the area well. I lived on the only house on Maple Street which is the northern borderline of the city. I still own land there.
