Or how Snape, went for Hermione when she tried to run off, and not harry. As she knew she was still vurnral girl even if she was a young adult..I love it protecting the girl a bit more too...and dont mean in romantic way either just...I feel if snape was a tad nicer did a find a happy ending he would been great with a daughter. Oh. I never noticed before, but Snape flinches when Harry looks him directly in the eye while he's attempting to teach him how to 'discipline his mind'. He was seeing Lily. Then brought up James to hide how much Harry reminded him of HER and not James. His words rarely add up to his actions. His words say 'You are just like your father', but his actions say that he loves Lily and can't help but protect the boy that would have been his, had they not lost each other. Harry really doesn't have many adults he can trust. While Snape may not always be kind, he has always protected Harry, as one would imagine that Lily would have if she had lived.
There is no one else who could have played the part. Alan Rickman brings the character to life and gives his whole heart into the role. I wish I could have met him in person, he truly is one of the greats. A shining beacon that perhaps can help others to learn how to be good, not just to others, but also themselves too. Never forget. Always remember.
    Always.

Snape was an adult who became a Death Eater and only changed sides when Lily died, without forgetting that Book Snape was unfairly abusive to Harry and Neville when they didn't deserve it. Snape was a much messier and grayer adult than the adult James Potter. The ideal is not to whitewash his bad actions but to recognize the mistakes he made as part of the beautifully imperfect and gray character that he is.

I love the "GIVE ME A REASON " even tho he has the wrong man, he would GLADDLY torture and watch the torture of the man who betrayed her. I almost wish Harry went to Snape for help with things. I think we would have seen a different side. Of him
The look he has when Harry calls out Snape. It is SO PAINED. I think he did for a moment lose himself. And then realized what was happning.
"After everything I did for you.... for her .. "
In this FINAL seconds..he let the hate for James go...and saw her. And her child. Snape wasn't a good man....but he chose to not be a bad one. And when it came to it. He could have said the truth...to spare his life

James Potter and Draco Malfoy were similar

James Potter bullied Severus Snape in Hogwarts when they were students at Hogwarts school 🏫🎒
Just like draco Malfoy bullied Harry Potter in Hogwarts aswell obviously as we all see 🙉🙉
Because James and Sirius and Remus aka the marauders and the rest of James gang all bullied Severus Snape
And Draco Malfoy and his gang Crabbe and Goyle aka the syltherins all bullied Harry Potter
Basically Snape is the Itachi of Harry Potter because of the things they went through
And then James met his wife lily Evans and changed him into a better person and then Harry Potter was born their son.
The same with a draco he met his wife Astoria Greengrass and changed into a better person and then Scorpius Malfoy was born their son.

Snape would love Lily more than he feared him. He never imagined that Lily would love her son more than her own life. And he never imagined Draco's mother would betray him for the chance to know if her son was alive. He never expected that Harry would willingly give his life rather than fight. All of these things, he couldn't understand, because Love does not always make sense. Yet it always survives. It always protects. It never fails. Humans fail. They die. But unconditional love never ends.

@@yourworstnightmare3271 To be respectful of others. There are still those who have not read all the books or watched all the movies. Even if it's 11 years old. And if people don't care, then they can just hit read more, right? I honestly didn't think anyone would read it, let alone comment.

this was an impeccable video thank you. It restates how strong Severus truly was, a monster of circumstance, he never casted a spell against Minnie but he used his own and hers to knock out the siblings behind him

With the Oclumency lessons It really feels like Snape genuinely wants to teach and share knowledge with Harry. His tone and everything is very soft and informative until Harry says or does something to piss him off 😂 or comes off as ignorant to what Voldemort is capable of regarding him.

Yes, I believe a lot of Snape's "hatred" towards Harry was that he thought Harry was being foolish and careless and not taking the danger he was in seriously which made Snape angry because he feared Harry would get in trouble because of his attitude. Seeing someone you care for acting stupid and harming themselves and not being able to help it is one of the most infuriating things there are.
