What a nice vehicle! I am excited to follow you two on your trip. The more details the better! Ie, borders, permits, passports, whatever you encounter.
Damn those wheels are super nice! And the bumper look amazing. Also the permanently mounted Starlink is definitely something we wish we had. Great to see these additions, super nice. All ready to go for an amazing PanAm trip 👍🏻
We're in San Diego also! We live in our skoolie and are currently parked on a family members property in North county. We really want to travel to Mexico so it'll be cool to watch your travels! When I was a kid I traveled with my parents in our 1988 Toyota Odyssey (like the more common Dolphin) which is similar to yours but definitely not as cool! It was on the small Toyota truck chassis. We definitely agree with your purchase of this rig! Looking forward to more vids from you guys! Been watching since you sold the old van and started the last van during covid
@@chrisandsara we definitely lucked out staying here, when we were on our way back from the east coast we kept calling around to places out here and nobody wanted to let us stay because its a skoolie 🤦♀️ Our family's property that we're parked on is several acres in a high end neighborhood with an HOA but there's only 6 homes in this community and everyone gets along so we definitely lucked out! Would love to cross paths one day! We keep saying we're going to start making and posting vids but never do 🤣 One day...
Such a cool rig! That rock hitting the windshield definitely would have made me scream too. Seriously can’t wait to see all the adventures you guys take this on!
ALRIGHT!!! Very nice tour of your rig. Thanks for answering a question I had about your Starlink setup. I too am converting mine to 12 volts. Looks like there is more storage than meets the eye, and you've organized it very well. Until next time... Travel safe.... and we can't wait to see what is coming next.
Nice rig guys! I'm catching up on my video-watching. I really like the electric and water customizations for worldwide systems that you've done! I want to do the PanAm at some point myself and wouldn't have thought these dual systems were possible (well everything is possible when you sit down and think what you need...like you did!). Look forward to your adventures.
When I graduated from college, my dad sold me his 1985 Honda Accord hatchback. No A/C, no power steering, no power windows or power locks. He was an engineer. Bells and whistles were things that could break.
Cool rig. I've lusted after truck campers for decades (since I was in high school 30+ years ago), but these days the lack of secure bike storage keeps me out of one. I think I'd be looking at something like a Zerobreeze A/C unit to at least keep the sleeping area comfortable.
Not having AC while driving is doable. However, not having AC in the living area is tough. I'm not sure if I could live without a way of cooling the living area. However, if you follow the weather and build up some tolerance to hot weather, you can make it work. On the other hand how difficult would it be to get AC in the unit? Just curious.
It was more a spacing issue with this rig when it came to AC. We just didn't have enough space on the inside to fit the unit properly. We could have switched out the Max Fan for AC but then we wouldn't have a fan and we deemed that more necessary
@@DuffyGabi Respectfully, suffering, anxiety and the unknown is part of what makes an adventure so memorable and rewarding. However, it is a lot more rewarding with AC. Just saying!
Hi. Just found you! This is noir dream rig. Huge Toyota people and we keep wishing Toyota would build a 4x4 van but this is killer. What was the maker of the camper? Bymoble? We’d love to check out options for a conversion. Thanks! Great video.
Very cool rig. That said, too much you time and not enough of the rig, especially when you transitioned to interior. The camera would do a quick pan of the feature and then show you talking about the features for five times longer.
You need to get rid of that cable winch line and get synthetic rope. Safer, lighter and just a no brainer. Don’t be a rookie American and skimp on important items.
I have to say that it was pretty hard to hear what you were saying 90% of the time! You need to slow down when speaking I don't mean to be rude but I'm not sure what you said most of the time
action packed videos are never slow. thankfully youtube has an amazing feature where you can actually slow the video to 50% speed if you are needing to take notes. @@sharonsegal9784

Thanks so much!! So far the rig has worked out well for us. I hope you get to make your own Pan American adventure happen one day soon!
Looking forward to watching you add polaroids, stickers, patches - the fun stuff!
See YOU GET IT. Can’t wait to show those moments more!
Older truck but it’s high tech! Looks amazing! Safe travels you two. ~Cara 😊
Thanks so much!
How exciting! Very thoughtful upgrades to the rig. It's gonna be rough without AC!
Thanks y'all! Hope our paths cross soon!
I wish I was 30 years younger. I would travel differently. I have been spoiled with resorts with king size beds and central air. Thanks!
Oh man, we get jealous of those king size beds and AC. 😅

I didn't see where you store FOOD! And I'd be interested in how you function in that small kitchen with almost no counter space. Love the rig! ❣
Ah we forgot to show one of the closets thats for our food storage. We'll make sure to show it soon!
I heard everything just fine. God Bless you both. Safe travels. Dan Spahr, Ocala, Fl formerly St. Elmo, Chatt. TN

Suffering, anxiety and the unknown is part of what makes an adventure so memorable and rewarding. But, yes, AC really is an awesome thing.

Hi y'all! Yes, the camper was made by BiMobil. They're still in business and are located in Germany. :)

We love it!
The coolest rig on the road!!!
Needs a fake window sticker on the front tho
Get ready for version 2.0 of the truck tour!
Hahaha. Wait....what? 😂
Where do you keep your food?
It's in one of the closest. We forgot to show it! 🫣
What is your comfortable cruising speed?
On the highway around 55 mph
@@chrisandsara Thank you. I’m not much faster. Just under 60mph. Rarely an issue. Safe and fun travels you 3 !

No AC you'll gonna love that as you go down.
Yep!

Already did Daniel. Glad to have advice from a “pro” American.

In the settings, you can turn down the playback speed. For what it is worth, I watched on 1.25x and thought it was fine.
