I used Xenoverse clips in the video and they have Punisher Drive and Soul Punisher as separate moves. Also online it’s quite confusing as apparently Stardust Breaker and Soul Punisher are now being used as terms for each other, different games using one or the other. There’ll be more confirmation in gameplay showcases hopefully 🤞

Thank you so much for the support again! Those are some good questions. I think we’ll get at least 20 new characters/forms revealed on Friday, and then we’d have about 36% of the roster left. They’ll either reveal all of the T.O.P characters or go for a story mode with villains. There’s so many slots that are needed for the villain forms too, e.g. 5 Frieza forms, 3/4 Cell forms, 3/4 Buu forms. Then all of the Gohan forms too. I’m hoping for movie and GT characters, if they’re added then it won’t be all of them though as there just isn’t enough space. I’m thinking of all the SSJ4 forms and Omega Shenron for now, with maybe Fusion Reborn Gogeta and Janemba too. DLC will be other key fan favourite characters like Baby Vegeta, other evil Dragons, Super 17, maybe some other movie characters like Bojack. For the bad roster part, I’m thinking of characters that will end up in the game but ones that noone will probably use. E.g. Yajirobe or they might even including someone like Jaco because he’s in Super.

I feel like we’re going to get 2 Vegito’s and 3 Gogeta’s. (Z) Vegito who fuses into base form and can transform into a super saiyan, (Super) Vegito who fuses into base as well but only has the blue form. (Z) Gogeta will fuse and will be super saiyan right from the start, (Super) Gogeta as we saw in the trailer will start in base and will be able to go super saiyan then blue, and (GT) Gogeta will just start as a super saiyan 4 naturally. I think the title for Vegito on the website is subject to change just as broly’s was before and he’ll be labeled accordingly at some point in the future because there’s no way they’ll skip super Vegito.

I can’t really think of any moveset or even appearance differences between a potential Z Vegito and (Super) Vegito. Yep I think that’s exactly what’ll happen. On the roster right now he has a base form slot, Super Saiyan Blue slot and there’ll be an additional Super Vegito slot. You should be able to transform into both forms as base, as Z or Super isn’t specified. They’ll definitely show base Vegito transform and beat up Buuhan in a future trailer

It would make more sense if they just swapped Majin Vegeta and him around but for now at least all those transformation and fusion slots are grouped together correctly. We should be getting more updates on Friday to this anyway
the reason why Super goku wont have ssj2 and ssj3 is because then he would have to many forms. usualy they only have 4 transformations and since they confirmed ultra instinct goku in a steam leak, thats all we gonna get. also after battle of gods, goku never really used ssj3 so its not that big of a deal.

I wonder if they include Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken as a separate slot or if it’s maybe a Ultimate that lets you transform temporarily. Yeah SSJ3 wasn’t used much after but I think he used it against Future Trunks too. It definitely isn’t as important now.
Always enjoy your videos, but I'll give a bit of feedback here. I don't usually pay the English site any mind, because I notice discrepancies between it and the Japanese. The Japanese doesn't refer to either Gogeta or Broly as "Gogeta (Super)" and "Broly (Super)"? They are solely referred to as Gogeta and Broly. I genuinely am not expecting any other variants of these characters to come out before we get the DLC. Also, we did see Gogeta using the Big Bang Kamehameha; towards the end, when the English one says "it takes two" you see him preparing the Big Bang Kamehameha, weirdly, in BASE state, which is more proof against SSJ4 or Z Gogeta in my mind. I do appreciate that, unlike other people, you didn't IMMEDIATELY assume we weren't getting SSJ Vegetto. I've never seen so little brain power being used than when I watch some other RUclipsrs. I will say I don't expect Beast Gohan until DLC though. If this game has truly had 5 years of development, by the time Super Hero was released, the final decisions on the roster had likely been made, and the rigging and modelwork had likely begun. I wouldn't expect Super Herp until DLC, likely the first pack. I'll be VERY surprised otherwise.
I think the English site is likely more accurate. The specificity of the (Super) classifications is definitely not English site taking liberties but rather the JP staff being less specific as to not give away characters. If you look at JP’s marketing for this game they’re definitely not afraid to play up the mystery and anticipation for the more popular characters like the JP tweet before this trailer for example.
@@reggitopia I disagree wholeheartedly. No. 17 is listed as No. 17 (Super) so we know that we'll see 17 (Z) even if we haven't yet. There's no reason to not specify who is who if there is a variant. I'm more inclined to believe the English website is specifying to make sure English fans don't get confused.

Damn I missed Gogeta using Big Bang Kamehameha then, not sure why they showed it for a split second and it looks unusual in base too. Haha yeah Super Vegito is 100% being added to the game, he’s a staple character for sure. For now I’m using that logic for possible other Gogeta forms, if they do randomly drop something like a GT trailer in the future. Yeah Beast Gohan was more of a hopeful want for me, I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t include him. About the development issues though, I think that they’re more flexible. I mentioned in a previous video about Xenoverse 2 launching while Super was airing. Goku Black was included as a pre order bonus, just days after being shown in the anime, I could definitely see them doing the same for Daima and having one Daima character as a pre order bonus, rather than a whole new DLC pack.
Damn I didn’t realise there was a Japanese Dragon Ball Games Twitter account. Their tweets definitely seem more engaging, tweeting stuff like “theme predictions” before a trailer is definitively not what I expected. We should hopefully have more clues at the SGF trailer very soon anyway, I’m definitely going to check the Japanese account again in case they say extra details.
I’m sure we’ll get more clues on Friday. We’re at the halfway point now and I expect at least 20 characters/forms to be shown. With no VJump to go off, it’s free game in terms of theme and they could reveal literally anyone and confirm circulating rumours.

Yeah I totally get that perspective. He’s an interesting case because of previous dragon ball games like Tenkaichi 3 he was playable but I think in Xenoverse he was a skin. IMO they’ll probably not include him as a separate slot because of trying to fit GT and OG DB.

Also, we did see Gogeta using the Big Bang Kamehameha; towards the end, when the English one says "it takes two" you see him preparing the Big Bang Kamehameha, weirdly, in BASE state, which is more proof against SSJ4 or Z Gogeta in my mind. I do appreciate that, unlike other people, you didn't IMMEDIATELY assume we weren't getting SSJ Vegetto. I've never seen so little brain power being used than when I watch some other RUclipsrs.
I will say I don't expect Beast Gohan until DLC though. If this game has truly had 5 years of development, by the time Super Hero was released, the final decisions on the roster had likely been made, and the rigging and modelwork had likely begun. I wouldn't expect Super Herp until DLC, likely the first pack. I'll be VERY surprised otherwise.
I think the English site is likely more accurate. The specificity of the (Super) classifications is definitely not English site taking liberties but rather the JP staff being less specific as to not give away characters. If you look at JP’s marketing for this game they’re definitely not afraid to play up the mystery and anticipation for the more popular characters like the JP tweet before this trailer for example.
@@reggitopia I disagree wholeheartedly. No. 17 is listed as No. 17 (Super) so we know that we'll see 17 (Z) even if we haven't yet. There's no reason to not specify who is who if there is a variant. I'm more inclined to believe the English website is specifying to make sure English fans don't get confused.

Haha yeah Super Vegito is 100% being added to the game, he’s a staple character for sure.
For now I’m using that logic for possible other Gogeta forms, if they do randomly drop something like a GT trailer in the future.
Yeah Beast Gohan was more of a hopeful want for me, I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t include him.
About the development issues though, I think that they’re more flexible.

Goku Black was included as a pre order bonus, just days after being shown in the anime, I could definitely see them doing the same for Daima and having one Daima character as a pre order bonus, rather than a whole new DLC pack.
Damn I didn’t realise there was a Japanese Dragon Ball Games Twitter account. Their tweets definitely seem more engaging, tweeting stuff like “theme predictions” before a trailer is definitively not what I expected.
We should hopefully have more clues at the SGF trailer very soon anyway, I’m definitely going to check the Japanese account again in case they say extra details.
I’m sure we’ll get more clues on Friday. We’re at the halfway point now and I expect at least 20 characters/forms to be shown.

Yeah I totally get that perspective. He’s an interesting case because of previous dragon ball games like Tenkaichi 3 he was playable but I think in Xenoverse he was a skin.
IMO they’ll probably not include him as a separate slot because of trying to fit GT and OG DB.
