Unfortunately the game is only coming on Steam and next generation consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. I know it’s a bummer but I’m assuming that it requires the next gen hardware to keep up with the beautiful graphics and motion of Sparking Zero. It’s not guaranteed, but when they release the Switch 2 next year, there may be a Sparking Zero port released the year after. If you were interested in buying that instead.

I think what happened is that they had different covers based on region. European and American copies had Goku and the Z Fighters and Japan had the Trunks cover. If it isn’t that, then I’m not sure because you can find online, people selling copies that have both cover arts and it’s the same game.

Unfortunately manga characters will not feature as Dragon Ball games can only use content that’s in the anime. They don’t have the rights to use manga content. Hopefully if the manga is adapted for a Dragon Ball Super return one day, they’ll add them as DLC characters 🤞

If we do get a public demo, it should be out on Steam (PC), PlayStation and Xbox store. So don’t worry you don’t need a PC, but you’ll need a next gen console.

Fully agreed bro. I never got to play the beta for Xenoverse 2 back in the day but I’m sure people definitely gave some valuable feedback. Even if the demo has like 4 characters and 2 stages, the game would be so much fun to try out 🔥

Weird that it's talking about pre-order dates because I already paid mine off. Idk why this is just being talked about. I got introduced to the game by gamestop early from their pre-order list about a year ago.

Yeah it’d definitely be too many forms, it’s just that for Tenkaichi they usually go for completeness. I wonder if they include Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken as a separate slot or if it’s maybe a Ultimate that lets you transform temporarily. Yeah SSJ3 wasn’t used much after but I think he used it against Future Trunks too. It definitely isn’t as important now.

Damn they actually looked too similar when I was looking at the roster screen, thanks for pointing it out. It would make more sense if they just swapped Majin Vegeta and him around but for now at least all those transformation and fusion slots are grouped together correctly. We should be getting more updates on Friday to this anyway

Thank you so much for the support again! Those are some good questions. I think we’ll get at least 20 new characters/forms revealed on Friday, and then we’d have about 36% of the roster left. They’ll either reveal all of the T.O.P characters or go for a story mode with villains. There’s so many slots that are needed for the villain forms too, e.g. 5 Frieza forms, 3/4 Cell forms, 3/4 Buu forms. Then all of the Gohan forms too. I’m hoping for movie and GT characters, if they’re added then it won’t be all of them though as there just isn’t enough space. I’m thinking of all the SSJ4 forms and Omega Shenron for now, with maybe Fusion Reborn Gogeta and Janemba too. DLC will be other key fan favourite characters like Baby Vegeta, other evil Dragons, Super 17, maybe some other movie characters like Bojack. For the bad roster part, I’m thinking of characters that will end up in the game but ones that noone will probably use. E.g. Yajirobe or they might even including someone like Jaco because he’s in Super.

I think that the SSJ4 trio and Omega Sheron will be in base roster for GT, and Broly, Cooler, and Janemba + Z Gogeta for movies. No one expected Gogeta, Vegito or Zamasu in this trailer at all, they may pull off another banger especially because it’s SGF. We’ll get our answers very soon anyway

I mean, when they first revealed the game, the last bt3 character they showed was ssj4 Goku, so they did pay attention to him, and it's more likely that Gogeta (GT) will be the other variation, since z doesn't have that many moves

Yeah I find it weird how they teased SSJ4 Goku like that. He definitely has way more differences in appearance and moveset compared to Z Gogeta for sure. I guess it’ll come down to whether they want to milk money with GT DLC packs or not.

Hmm, I feel like it’s unlikely we get a Z Vegito form because on the website there’s no indication of (Super) or (Z), and we are getting close to the final launch now. I can’t really think of any moveset or even appearance differences between a potential Z Vegito and (Super) Vegito. They could definitely still change titles secretly though as you said for Broly, I can’t really remember if there was a specific event that they changed it during or if it was truly random. I’m hopeful for SSJ4 Gogeta too, I’ve seen discussions that the naming scheme wouldn’t actually include GT. So it’d be just SSJ4 Gogeta.

Though since Vegito probably won’t get a Z version and not the supposed same treatment as Broly; do you think he’ll have Base,SSJ, and Blue as one whole character? I think that’s the only way it would make sense if they weren’t gonna add a Z Vegito and if that were to be the case then when we see him fighting Buuhan the trailer will simply just show base and SSJ like this trailer did for Base and Blue

Yep I think that’s exactly what’ll happen. On the roster right now he has a base form slot, Super Saiyan Blue slot and there’ll be an additional Super Vegito slot. You should be able to transform into both forms as base, as Z or Super isn’t specified. They’ll definitely show base Vegito transform and beat up Buuhan in a future trailer

Any specific giant characters you really want? Damn that Ninja Storm reference is pure nostalgia haha, I hope they bring stuff back like planet destruction but also add some new unknown features that we have to discover at launch. I used Xenoverse clips in the video and they have Punisher Drive and Soul Punisher as separate moves. Also online it’s quite confusing as apparently Stardust Breaker and Soul Punisher are now being used as terms for each other, different games using one or the other. There’ll be more confirmation in gameplay showcases hopefully 🤞
