“Entitled” is the perfect word
First off, lane splitting has specific rules about relative speeds which few riders follow. But heres why I dont do it and don't like it.
As a driver and a rider, I try to pay attention to where everyones vehicles are at within my area of traffic, in case I need to maneuver. If someone comes flying though that area of my attention at higher speeds than everyone else it is disruptive, it doesn't matter if its a car or motorcycle, it increases the odds that I am now unaware their position in relation to me. Its disruptive to safe driving formations. Traffic is not about who is fastest, its about safe formations to maximize volume. Thats why we have lines, its not rocket science. However If everyone is stopped at a light then I don't care, go ahead pull up to the front, but if your foot peg or bars hit my car you'd better stop because if you run a little vehicular assault is not below my moral compass

As someone who has ridden motorcycles for over 50 years, I don’t understand riding in a manner where a driver can kill you while never violating any law or even exiting their lane of traffic. It’s easy enough to get injured on a bike without betting your life that the person driving that vehicle in front of you will 1, be paying attention to what is in front of them, let alone the bike taking part of their lane while they are in their lane.

The law is only 40 and under. These asshol’s drive over 80 mph and blame drivers when this stuff happens. Lanesplitting shlild not be allowed.
The problem is that most riders nowadays can't ride worth crap and in split second decisions don't know how to react.
But I do love lane splitting because I enjoy the idiots biting the one LOL.

I still have to remember sometimes that most of that experience comes from driving in very controlled circumstances. Lane splitting is a stupid idea. If you want to do it, fine, just don’t gripe if you get hit. I don’t understand why some think that bike riders shouldn’t have to wait in traffic like everyone else.

I ride motorcycles as much as I can. Lane splitting is a stupid, dangerous and life-threatening maneuver that will get you or someone else hurt or killed. If you're in that big of a hurry, get into another vehicle.
