Strongly agree with Syeikh Musa..the voice is a gift by Allah to his 'family'..(Ahlullah). Ask du'a to Allah for a good voice from Him. Practicing the recitation, Al Quran understanding affect the qurra' voice....

Quick question.. these hifz students who started hifz at a young age. Would they have to finish full Quran with tajweed by looking first ? then get onto hifz ?
It defend on choice. One can start with hifz, he can start with reading with the quran, he can also mix the 2 at the same time. But if one knows how to recite with the quran, gives more advantages than others.
