As a Bangalorean, born and bred, I was so happy Tucker knows my city. Btw, bangalore as a town is more than 1200 years old although the city centre was around 8 miles away from where it is now. Bangalore was once a beautiful place, very very beautiful before it became the tech capital of India. I miss my old bangalore so much. Thats the reason why most native Bangaloreans migrate to california and other parts of US which is similar to Bangalore culture than anywhere in India. I am talking about much more progressive outlook, amitious, great weather etc

Tucker mentioned one of the things in this interview that I always liked him for over all other hosts and it always stood out with me. When he interviews people he listens and lets them talk. He will literally will let his guests talk and get their point out without interrupting them. It's a very noticeable trait which makes him that much more likeable.
Unlike the insufferable Hannity and multitude of others on most of the networks who constantly interrupt their guests to the point you can't watch stand to look at them, Tucker sits back and listens, which in the end allows you, the viewer, to watch a real conversation take place.
I'm with you. I can't watch Hannity at all. He always has to work in his stupid talking points to every question, that takes him 5 minutes to ask. Tucker was always great about letting others talk. That's why his long interviews now are so good.
Most of the time, I have seen him cut a few off but for the most part you're right.
Yes that's what I loved about Tucker also Tucker also did his homework on issues and can't stand Hannity for that reason

Tucker talking about trusting your instincts reminded me of a book I read called "The Gift Of Fear" which talks about trusting the little voice in your head. Good read. Could save your life.
Sounds like a good book. And thats SO true. Every time Ive gone against my instincts or the voice in my head Ive regretted it.
What does that "little voice in your head" tell you to do though? Because that's not always the best advice..
What I don't understand is why we have what I would call "unreasonable fears", the biggest of which for men is approaching and having conversations with females. Seems to be one of those fears that ends up sabotaging us more than helping us.

I’m confused as to why anybody would think a rich and out of touch media person would have their own commonfolk best interests in mind. This ain’t a partisan issue, it’s a POS personality issue and they have us all squabbling.
@@bestwesterner As someone who watched Tucker's show most of the time from 2016 to him being fired, I would say it was pretty gradual. At first, he told some truth he could get away with, but also said what Fox wanted just as much. That was when he was doing the whole schtick of "roasting the libs" in debates with left wing guests.
But by the time of right before he got fired, he was exposing big pharma, calling out the military industrial complex, and preaching anti-war viewpoints on a near nightly basis. I think since he boiled the frog Fox put up with it for a while but then they snapped, it was too much. Hope that makes sense.

i love you Theo, but a bit more professionalism when doing big time interviews would benefit you greatly. don't think it's likely other big names see this and think, wow. reach out to this podcast, i would like to be on an episode.

I've come to the belief recently that a persons 50's are their golden years. It's an age when they have lot of experience but are still young and have plenty of energy and cognition power to deliver impactful insight from that experience, and solve really tough problems. It's when they can make the most positive change to their community.
I’m 58, and I couldn’t agree more. The old saying “life begins at 50” has a lot of truth to it. For me it was in my occupation, turned 50, had a breakout year and haven’t come down since
