I enjoyed your honest reviews of the egg tarts in SF Chinatown. Glad you gave a near-perfect score for the egg tarts at Garden Bakery! I feel they are a hidden secret among locals, and offer the best bang for the buck (I feel they are better than those offered at a more famous bakery on Grant St that is closed 80% of the year). I have been going to them ever since the 80s, they are indeed a SF Chinatown institution. Their other traditional buns are equally good, and are made fresh throughout the day.
i love your channel so much! your videos are all so professional, well thought out and sleek. probably one of my favourite food channels out here! honestly can't believe you don't have a mil subs because you definitely deserve it!! i'll be sure to try a couple of these when i go to SF. :-) looking forward to your next upload.
Aw that means so much to me. Thank you so much! I've been producing RUclips videos for quite some since it's a hobby of mine and hopefully one day I'll be to reach a wider audience. Appreciate all your kind words and hope you have an amazing new year!
I just learned Napoleon Bakery recently switched owners and they raised their prices. I bought some egg tarts there last week and I think they’re now $1.70 each. Did you know Golden Gate Bakery, most famous for their egg tarts, is open again (or whenever they feel like it)? I definitely think they’re the best, if not close to the top. But their high prices make them more of a luxury. There’s also another place in SF known for their egg tarts: Mr. Bread in the Sunset neighborhood. Not my personal fav, but a lot of people think they’re the best. People buy them by the dozen whenever I’m there.
Hi Albert, I appreciate you watching my videos over the years and leaving such thoughtful comments. I did see that Napoleon Bakery is now called Stockton Bakery so that makes sense. I was thinking about visiting Golden Gate Bakery but I find that they're always closed!! I'll need to check out Mr. Bread, thanks for the recommendation!

0:52 facts, i remember going home everyday from school and seeing the same shen yun billboards
Be sure you check your child's candy at Halloween this year. One kid found an entire Shen Yun ad in his candy bar.
I'm here to see your feed!🎉❤I like egg tarts too!It looks delicious! 😋The box is so cute and pretty, too. I want to try San Francisco egg tart.😋❤️
Thank you!! Appreciate you watching my video

Golden Gate Bakery makes the best egg tarts in Chinatown. Mr Bread in the Sunset district does a great job on their egg tarts.
Love your food tour vids! Got myself an egg tart after watching this :)
Hehe thank you Sola 🎉❤ hope you enjoyed ittt
Hi eggie , have happy new year!
Thank Ruby, you too!

@@eatsbyrachel I love your videos. Keep up the good work!
Hi love ur vids! ♡
Thank you Kayla!
Golden Gate Bakery will blow them all out of the park. But, the price for an egg tart @ $3.75 is just ridiculous!
Wait!! What happened to Eastern Bakery??? I would have loved to hear your review on that one. 😄 Just found your channel, loving it.
I cover Eastern Bakery at 6:47!
14:04 You need a palate cleanser between each different egg tart.
Golden Gate Bakery. Best! Bar none.❤
happy new year!!! HI EGGIE
BHAHAHAH HNY CHLO
Hi eggie 🎉
蛋撻 = egg tart. Would be nicer to pair up with a cup of Hong Kong style miketea. ;)
IT LOOKS LIKE A MUFFIN top but the bottom of the muffin it is just eggs🥚
The title should not be best in San Francisco. Maybe Chinatown minus Golden Gate Bakery. There are lots in Sunset and Richmond
You are very cute
Sorry to say that institution who sells $3.5 ea such a rip off, NY has it better for half the price
