And with most of the players6-8 years in the league already at least, they were not that young bad young enough in their primes. The next iterations were composed mostly of young superstars with a mix of some old heads but this one had them all in their primes except Bird. If you noticed the Dream Team never tried to make it a 90 foot game , never really pressed on defense mostly dropped to a half court game , not that they. Needed to press , they defensive pressure was never truly turned up .

I love when Larry is playing, he's wonderful to watch, but I'm holding my breath the whole time, worrying about his back. I know he didn't injure it there, but I still worry; can't help it. I'm kind of relieved when he is lying on the floor by the bench, because he isn't in danger of re-injuring himself there, unless someone falls on him. After all, it's not like this team needed a crutch player at the end to hit that game winning 3 pointer. There were several to spare. :)
It funny rewatching this so many years after the fact. I'd forgotten how many bricks the Dream Team would lay up during these games. Александр Яковлевич в перерыве дал пожать свою руку Мэйджику)))
MJ was such an underrated defensive player (if that is possible). It wasn't that he was working hard at all time. His spider sense on defense was off the chart and also helped that he was lightening quick w/ strong big hands.
Dream Team 1 really had great chemistry. Other iterations weren' t the same in terms of their passing and team game and yeah the world got better but I think Dream Team 1's chemistry was really the hallmark of this team. And with most of the players6-8 years in the league already at least, they were not that young bad young enough in their primes. The next iterations were composed mostly of young superstars with a mix of some old heads but this one had them all in their primes except Bird. Magic was still at the tale ne do his prime here despite the long layoff.
Whoever choose that thumbnail had wicked sense of humour. I like it :)
Detlef rocked that same haircut his whole career.
Bart Simpson wears his hair like that too!!!! Lol!!!!
Yoooo i can actually see the ball. This is some amazing 1992 quality
Well it's 1992 not 1892 lol
The GOAT 🐐 in his prime
jordan,barkley, ewing .. was solid ..
No commentators. No bull$h!t. Just Basketball ✊🏽
I kept trying to think what was different. Finally, duh, the constant talk from the commentators! It was lovely.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I am enjoying watching these Dream Team games but its weird not to have Marv Albert calling the game. I don't see many live sports events so that is the feel. Thanks for posting.
The legend Michael Jordan is the best
I love the fact that they tried to pass the ball and involved everyone. Nobody was trying to be a star.
Its so cool to see greats like christian latener and detlef schrempf play on the same court!
The ASMR of basketball
If you noticed the Dream Team never tried to make it a 90 foot game , never really pressed on defense mostly dropped to a half court game , not that they. Needed to press , they defensive pressure was never truly turned up .
@3:18, I think that's actress Connie Selleca, and at 4:10, Boris Becker, German tennis player.
And also it's so fascinating to see the shoes at that time it's like only 30 years later and it's impressive how different it is from today like it looks the same but there's more color too it
I forgot Detlef Schrempf was on that team.
Germany has disappeared from the world basketball map for many years. Nobody pays any attention to this team any more.
4:12 Boris Becker looking cool as always XD
@Charis Axiopoulos watching the game lmfao
They should have a German dream team of professional soccer players and put them against a team of US born soccer players as revenge for this.
That is called the World Cup
@@randallturner3469 soccer is not allowed in the olympics
Det the Threat the best German player ever to play this game, hands down.
It funny rewatching this so many years after the fact. I'd forgotten how many bricks the Dream Team would lay up during these games. I don't know if they hadn't turned up the heat to Hall of Famer because they wanted to go easy on their opponents, or it was just too many chefs in the kitchen. But some of the early '92 matches you can tell they aren't trying very hard.
I just love picturing a young Dirk at home watching this live
