I believe the villain of Superman: Legacy will be Manchester Black. He’s a unique antagonist we haven’t seen before and is one that really challenges Superman’s philosophy of truth, justice, and the American way. Black could then show up in The Authority since he was a member at some point in the comics. I agree with all of your other picks, except for Swamp Thing. Anton Arcane makes the most sense because he’s Swamp Thing’s archenemy and most notable villain. He’s also the uncle to Alec Holland’s lover, Abigail Arcane, who must show up in the first movie. Anton could be revealed in the film as being manipulated by The Centre who I think will be the overarching villain of this first chapter that brings all of the characters together
I was originally thinking Manchester Black and then I realised that the Elite are basically the Authority so they will probably make Machester Black a member of the DCU version of the Authority and save him for that film instead.
These are great ideas! Makes me more hype go see these films and see what they will do. Also I think Lobo could also be a villain for the first Superman movie.
I also immediately thought of Parasite. Maybe Metallo will be the villain for the first half of the film and then the villain of the final act will be Parasite, with the main person orchestrating everything being Lex. They will definitely save Brainiac for a sequel.
I wasn't a fan of the idea that Supergirl fights a kryptonian in her movie, but Black Flame makes me agree. I think she has amazing potential as a villain and makes sense to have a crew to fight through since she was a Pirate Queen.
Yeah I agree the villains I hope they use in Superman Legacy is Metallo or Parasite because these two B or C level Superman villains would be a huge handful for Superman because yeah they can both seriously weaken him leveling the playing field and giving the movie stakes for the audience to latch on to and showing the audience especially casuals that Superman is not a unstoppable god he is beattable and there are other villains that can kill him besides just the heavy hitters like Doomsday, Darkseid , General Zod or Brainiac , one of these two would make a great beginning villain for Superman
Metallo or Parasite would also be a nice change to the usual characters we see Superman face off against. We've gotten Zod twice, Lex Luthor too many times to count and everyone knows what Doomsday brings to the table.
@@tyrellmultimedia yeah man I am so sick of seeing Lex Luthor just like I'm sick of seeing The Joker with Batman ,let's see Superman and Batman B or C level villains take a stab at them on the silver screen

Thanks. Very illustrative. Listening to you on the Swamp Thing segment (I gotta say the HBO TV series were fenomenal and I loved it) Floronic Man could be the answer although there's no wrong answer at all. But I keep thinking it would be really cool if the movies manage to have several timelines i.e. What if Swamp Thing is based on a story centered on the 30's with the soft and pastel colors, maybe Superman after WW2 with some background and history when He crosses Batman on 70's or even 60's as The Brave and The Bold of the animated series. This way the Justice League could be assembled on a near future as the Kingdom Come
I definitely want all 3 villains you mentioned in the Batman movie, but Ra's Al Ghul shouldn't be dead, since I really want an Under the Red Hood film as one of the sequel, which Ra's would have to be involved in. Perhaps Deathstroke is hired by another villain and Damian gets caught in the middle of the whole thing. I also think Manbat could show up as a side-villain, since he was involved in the storyline that introduced Damian.
Good video, but from what I’ve personally seen online is people want to keep Deathstroke as a Titans / Nightwing villain instead of messing with Batman
I agree completely with your idea in bringing Joe Manganiello back as Deathstroke. Doesn't matter if it's a different iteration, it can still really work, and if the rumors do line up with Ben Affleck directing Brave And The Bold, James Gunn and Peter Safran could use his Batman solo script and modify some elements to make it the story of BATB. And then, have Manganiello back as the villain. Really sold on this 👌🏻. Also, I think DCU will open a huge door on the fantastical side of Batman, not just the exploration of the Al Ghuls, but the fantastical creature-like villains you mentioned like Clayface and Man-Bat and not being restraint from the realistic outlook that Nolan and Reeves have. It's really exciting
Nice video! I would be hyped to see Anton Arcane as the villain of Swamp Thing, while also introducing his daughter Abby to the DCU. Of the Superman villains, I'd love it if James went really wacky with Mr. Mxyzptlk, or if not him, I think your choices would be excellent!
Thanks Josh! And ya that would be a really cool story. One of my recent videos is a theory that Mongul could be the main or one of the main DCU villains so that story would work out great!
I think Bloodsport would make a great secondary antagonist for Superman Legacy (Hired gun by Lex ideally). The kryptonite bullet plot is too good to be wasted on a 10 second piece of exposition. I know this isn't a movie but based of your previous vid about a potential Janus Directive adaptation I def would make Maxwell Lord the main antagonist (since he has connections to Checkmate/Argus) and throw in a couple of squadies as hired guns (ideally Bronze Tiger, Deathstroke, Catman, etc)
Ya that Bloodsport/Superman storyline NEEDS to be explored, it's too good to let it get lost in this new DCU. I agree with Maxwell Lord as well. Just hope it's much better executed than WW84.

I think Poison Ivy could be a good villain for The Brave and the Bold. As a mass murderer and an eco-terrorist she: -Would fit as a common enemy between Batman and the League since her goal is pretty much the same as the League’s except she intends to kill all humans. - Could serve thematically for Damian to learn a lesson about the value of life (if they decide to go that route).
That could be interesting because than you could play with a dynamic of frienship betrayal. How Superman has lost a friend and how Lex has been planning this for a while.
Idk much about the Authority or Swamp Thing so Idk the villains for those Superman - has to be someone who tests his morality and his place in the world. I think Lex Luthor is the best pick. Maybe not him directly but maybe he builds Metallo or hires someone else. An original character would also be cool Batman: Brave and the Bold - I think Talia should make a brief appearance and be saved as a villain for a later Batman or standalone Damian movie. Deathstroke is an excellent choice considering his ties to the league and possible connection to Damian. Supergirl - there could be a hit out on her and Lobo could hunt her down. I also believe this would be the better movie to introduce Brainiac considering she actually saw her homeworld be destroyed by him. There could also be connections to the shows in these movies so some villains could connect possibly
Dr Kriegstein was based on Jack Kirby. Turning the most beloved comics creator into a twisted villain was one of writer Mark Millar's shock tactics but I don't think it should be brought to screen. There's already a feeling that Kirby doesn't get enough recognition for his characters being used in movies so a full on character assassination would be a bad look and DC would probably want to keep the Kirby estate on board. Not to mention the character could potentially verge on antisemitic.
In the Batman movie I think the villain should be ethier joker and Harley if there ok with there being 2 Harley's and 3 jokers, the league of shadows, or court of owls. Now if they go with court of owls then i think they should go the route of Batman faking his death too try too figure who they are and is revealed towards the end that he is still alive. And most of the movie is the rest of the bat family trying too solve this. Batgirl, red hood, Alfred, nightwing, Tim drakes red robin and Damian Wayne's robin

Personally if I was to make a superman trilogy, the first will be about him coming to learn about krypton, learning to use his power and embracing the earth and what it means to be a good human(emphasizing on the values taught to him by the Kents which he'll take with him throughout his arc). The perfect foes for that movie would be General Zod or Brainiac. The Second movie will be about him learning that he isn't as invincible as he thinks he is and that he can't save everyone (Pa Kent will die in this movie due to cardiac arrest), by introducing kryptonite. A fusion of cyborg Superman and Metallo as one character will be the Villain in this movie. The third movie will be all about challenging ideologies between Superman/Clark and President Lex and cementing his alter ego as Clark Kent and becoming a reporter since his battle with lex teaches him that some battles are fought with pen and paper. In my universe, Clark would still be working at the Kent Farm in Small with his parents in the first two movies, then move to metropolis to become a reporter in the third movie after his encounter with Lex. Personally I believe that superman movies shouldn't be punchy, action blockbuster like Snyder's universe, but it should be adventurous, hopeful, thought provoking movies with a little bit of action sprinkled in there. So I'll leave villains like Mongul, Despero, Darkseid or any other action based villains... I'd save them for the team up movies.
I have been creating my own dc movie universe and i have parasite as my superman villan, along with the cult of centre ( my justice league is a new frontier adaptation) and lex kidnaps his employee and sells him to teh cult
Would love to see Deathstroke played by Dolph Lundgren in The Brave and The Bold, when i think of Deathstroke i think tough old bastard, and Dolph is exactly that!
great content, great ideas, but aren't you making predictions on movies and series that you think will never come out? why spend so much time ùaking that quality content if you know or strongly belive the DCU will never come to existence?
Many of these videos I made before I started to vocalize my concerns about the DCU. That's why now I don't make too many videos about it, unless requested by a viewer.
I’d rather see Deathstroke as an antagonist for a potential Suicide Squad sequel tbh. That or - If he must fight Batman - have Deathstroke be a member of the Legion of Doom against the Justice League.
I think the villain of superman legacy should be brainiac but have Lex Luther in just too know he's around. As these movies are coming Lex Luther will be gathering together the legion of doom
I know this is really nitpicky but it is an essential quality to Superman. SUPERMAN IS NOT A GOD. He is a human at heart but is actually an alien. Lex is the opposite, an alien at heart but is actually a human if you know what I mean.
That's fair but I do think Batman and Deathstroke can still share pivotal moments. When it comes to combat and pure human bodily perfection I do think they're equals.
@@tyrellmultimedia Definitely. I think I like Deathstroke more if he's not personal towards Batman. That's why I think Arkham Origins did it best. No vendetta, no linked backstory, just a bounty and mercenary willing to do what it takes.
Tbh I'm interested in all the films but with supergirl one I like the idea of her fighting kryptonians that helped destory their home planet but I hope they don't snyder her where she kills them in the end because the whole point of the source material was letting go and moving on doing the right thing even when it makes sense not to
I do agree with the ending to Man of Steel. There was literally no option with Zod. Superman had to kill him. With Supergirl there may be other options.
@T.M.M. I see what your saying however if I made the film I wouldn't have had superman kill zod in that moment since i do believe there was atleast a few more options rather than killing him especially since superman has a strong moral code for not killing even if it isn't batman style and plus in other films he kills while there are plenty of other things he could've done like the beginning of bvs but my whole point is the fact that with supergirl especially with the story its taking inspiration from is about letting go and hoping she don't get snydered out or any super hero for that matter
I can't really remember the context I was speaking in for Parasite here but perhaps I was talking about his obscurity in the terms of someone who hasn't been considered to be a main villain. Or the fact he is unknown to the general audience.
Honestly, I don't think we are gonna see Brainiac in Superman Legacy. If he has to be in one of the movies in the first chapter I think that is more likely that he Will be in Supergirl. That said, I think that for the Superman movie the villains Will be either Parasite or (Most likely) Metallo.
Metallo is kinda weak sauce IMO. As soon as Superman sees him move 1000miles away in 1/1000 of a second and heat vision him into a puddle. I can see Braniac making his first appearance in Supergirl, like at the end he's heading to earth and Supergirl is heading there to save Kandor and meets Superman. I hope Swamp Thing goes deep into the Morrison run, like is he a man that thinks he's a plant or a plant that thinks he's a man.
I think for brave and the bold it should be Black mask hired Death stroke to kill Batman and the league of shadows unleash Red hood to find Damian or something along the lines of that
Supergirl women of tomorrow should have livewire as the main villain. In this Supergirl movie it should be her coming too earth and developing her powers in her early days just like superman is in his movie. I think superman should have some scenes during the movie where he is teaching her somethings she needs too know while on earth and then have too go off a few times and save metropolis and is gone for awhile. Or cameos in the post credit scene where superman introduces her too his adaptive parents in smallville where she'll live and we'll get him training her ethier in her 2nd movie or his. While in her movie she comes too earth, shes not sure how anything works here but knows she's here for a purpose which is too protect and thats how you get her battling livewire. Superman is away and can't help her so she has too fight livewife on her own but figures out how too beat her abd send her too jail. Then thats when superman returns and he's proud she figured out how too win on her own.
Well James Gunn said he wanted to create some NEW villains. I believe I read on some post somewhere not too long ago. Maybe he will make them minorities as he likes to put them in his movies. You also had that rainbow DC shirt. So maybe the Ambiguously Gay duo from SNL will be either villains or allies from another multi-verse either helping or hindering the DC heroes !
I hope the Supes film is nothing like the terrible animated film Superman; Man of Tomorrow. I can't stand parasyte, but I reckon it will be Parasyte/ Metallo with Lobo and Lex as characters.
They should instead make the new trilogy this way, Superman:legacy , man of steel, man of steel 2. It’s perfect. Not only does the new dcu continuity Superman starts off the trilogy as a young man, include man of steel as a middle point rather than a beginning of the timeline, and have an excuse to finally make man of steel 2 like everyone wants. There you go an easy and quick trilogy
I love how ambiguous and unpredictable The Brave and The Bold is it just get me more excited for the film 🦇🔥

Superman legacy - lex Luther and metallo
Brave and the bold - Talia deathstroke and Ra Al ghul
Supergirl - no one or tease for brainiac
off topic but man i really need a justice league dark movie somewhere down the line
I’d rather see Deathstroke as an antagonist for a potential Suicide Squad sequel tbh.
That or - If he must fight Batman - have Deathstroke be a member of the Legion of Doom against the Justice League.
They should honestly just put him in a Teen Titans/Titans movie if it ever happens.
@@puzzledhypnoshroom1004 Oh Yeah. Absolutely!
I think the villain of superman legacy should be brainiac but have Lex Luther in just too know he's around. As these movies are coming Lex Luther will be gathering together the legion of doom
Deathstroke is a Titans villain, damnit!!
*He's an everyone villain*
But yes I do think his "primary" villains could be reduced to the Titans and Nightwing.
I know this is really nitpicky but it is an essential quality to Superman. SUPERMAN IS NOT A GOD. He is a human at heart but is actually an alien. Lex is the opposite, an alien at heart but is actually a human if you know what I mean.
I think mr terrific is the villain for Superman.
Honestly, I hope they save Deathstroke for a Titans movie. He has way more history with them, so wasting him as a Batman villain is mid imo.
I reckon Parasite isn't that obscure. He's a great villain
I can't really remember the context I was speaking in for Parasite here but perhaps I was talking about his obscurity in the terms of someone who hasn't been considered to be a main villain. Or the fact he is unknown to the general audience.
I seriously think Batman Brave and the Bold will loosely be based on Son of Batman and Ben Affleck's Terminator script.
I think for brave and the bold it should be Black mask hired Death stroke to kill Batman and the league of shadows unleash Red hood to find Damian or something along the lines of that
I definitely like the Black Mask/Deathstroke idea
Too much going on in ur idea
I think the court of owls is the villians of the batman.
I was wondering that but I was also thinking Matt Reeves might use that for his Batman trilogy.
You think we’ll get The Legion Of Doom in these movies?
Probably not in individual films but maybe as a Justice League villain
