Black Lightning is a principal and has daughters that also have powers. I wouldn't be surprised if he took on a vice-principal role to Niles Caulder. And his daughters would be great as young additions to the school, not on the team but just students.
Your choice to add Jericho and Vixen to the DC version of the X-Men team is perfect! Two extremely underrated DC characters who don’t get a lot of shine!

For your Brotherhood video, I would suggest Clayface, Blockbuster, Killer Croc, Dr. Light, Gizmo, Parasite, Man-Bat, Livewire, Dr. Polaris, Poison Ivy (honestly MOST of Batman's rogues would fit, lol), Baby Doll, Rampage, and Cheetah.
I would throw in both Fire and Ice. I would like to see your DC Brotherhood version too. I think of Suicide Squad as a mix of Marvel's Freedom Force and Marvel's Thunderbolts.
Dolphin would be a great candidate for this team, also Hawksmoor. I would replace Plastic Man with Elongated Man. Ralph has struggled to find his place in the world following both Sue's death, and Plas' rise to fame. I was going to also suggest Ray, but your Cap Atom is a great fit instead.
DC's X-Men Would Be: 1. Carter Hall/Hawkman - Founder & Leader 2. Shiera Saunders/Hawkwoman - Co-Founder & Co-Leader Plastic Men 3. I know the X-Men don't have just mutants in its roster but I think that those born with their abilities should be the main contenders. I didn't even think about Raven since she gets her powers from magic but you could easily say her empathic abilities are mutant powers from her mother's side

The closest approximation to or the equivalent of the X-Men in the DC Comics Universe: DC's version of the X-Men: 1. The Black Condor II (Ryan Kendall) 2. Dr. Caulder isn't a metahuman/mutant at all. A DC X-Men team would ideally be made up of people born with meta abilities or those who gained said abilities "naturally" like Marvel's mutants. Cool video nonetheless.

My DC's line up of the x-men Teachers - Black Lightning is the Principal, Harley Quinn is the Therapist, Hardware teaches technology, and Black Canary teaches Hand to Hand/ run team drills Students - Cassandra Cain, Blue Beetle, Kid Devil, Vibe, Kilowatt, Crush, Argent, El Durado, Asami, Jinx
You most often hear poeple cite either the thematic elements of X-Men,or the large and ever-growing cast of colorful characters as the main thing that draws them to these stories. And while those are both legitimate elements to be drawn to,for me personally it's that style of decompressed long form storytelling that Chris Claremont first brought to X-Men,and has been carried on by the others who have written one or more of the various X-books ever since then.
Blue beetle would be awesome Swamp thing died, and then was born again so I would put him on the team Super girl for obvious reasons And finally marshin Manhunter
It’s funny cause I always viewed the teen titans as dc version of the x-men. Simply due to the fact that u have justice league and avengers as the dc and marvel counter parts. But than after that if u had to think what’s the 2nd biggest group of heroes for both brands it would the x-men and teen titans. Both have had storylines in which u had justice league vs teen titans and avengers vs x-men. In the marvel and dc cross over u had the justice league with the avengers but than you had the x-men and teen titans. Cyclops and Jean = nightwing and star fire. Than there’s the all powerful phoenix for the x-men and than raven for the titans. Than u look at the fact that with the justice league u have a handful of members who are popular enough to have solo projects like Batman Superman Wonder Woman flash green lantern aqua man etc. but than the titans the main stories are together where no one gets solo projects except for nightwing being the only one who would be popular enough to have a solo project. Similar situation with the avengers and x-men, the avengers captain America, iron man, Thor, hulk, black panther, captain marvel all are able to have solo projects while with x-men most of the dynamics are between the members and so wolverine is the only one who is popular enough to get a solo movie. Wolverine = nightwing they are the only ones in their respective groups who can have solo movies/t.v shows while everyone else is strictly within the groups.
You are correct! The Teen Titans were modeled after the X-men. Doom Patrol came first and the Teen Titans were sidekicks only. Once they change the x men to add in wolverine storm rouge etc. They change the Titans to be similar to them. The X men and X Factor are Doom Patrol and the Titans.
very good team! yes captain atom ned too be exploit, fire star and enchanteresse too, all the characters you choice are good, yes a Zatanna/Raven duo could be cool to see, a part 2 with dc brotherhood is welcome
An interesting idea I've had since discovering your channel is which prominent DC characters could be classified as "mutants" in the Marvel universe and would they join the X-Men or Brotherhood of Mutants?
Niles Caulder or Cheif should handle Metahumans DC's term for mutants Clayface ,Crazy Jane, Timberwolf, Static Shock and Bizarro I know he's an unusual pick because he's an imperfect copy of Superman but he does feel that he is different, and society does shun him for his looks
Great selections. I would have cyborg Raven black Canary firestorm, vixen and beast boy (changeling) would be a duo, Zatana would be perfect as a companion for Raven. They could draw from each other. And of course Nikes Calder would be the leader . Metamorpho will be a great choice. As for the others they could form the other similar marvel teams like avengers or ff, (fantastic four)
I feel like the DC universe would embrace the mutant community/X-men if they were in that universe. Maybe not at first, but the DC universe tends to be more tolerant to meta-humans. Yeah, they go through their “anti-ET” times, but generally speaking they don’t hate and fear as much as Marvel seems to
Honestly, I think Wonder Woman herself is kinda like DC’s X-Men. Out of all the main DC characters, she’s the most politically charged one. While the X-Men are an allegory for racism and general bigotry, Diana is a directly feminist character. Also, just like the X-Men, Wonder Woman’s mythos is gay as fuck, even if DC doesn’t let her show it very much.
If you dig the X-Men, there's no better way to get back into Marvel than with House Of X/Powers Of X by Jonathan Hickman. Genuinely transformative comic
Gypsy and Vibe are both mutants, with Vibe having a brother with similar powers, who is occasionally villainous, shades of Cyclop, Gambit and Vulcan. Impulse 2/Kid Flash 2 was born with powers out of control, making him a mutant. If you have Jericho you should have his half sister Ravager Rose. Offspring Would be a better fit than his father Plastic Man. Kids wise, Jonathan Kent, Thunder and Lightning, Boy-Bat son of Man-Bat. Metamorpho's son, Cassius Clayface. Aqualad 2.
How would you feel about the inclusion of kid devil? I feel like he could fill a beast boy role as in someone who was a child coming into the fray but learned from their experience with the team overtime how to grow into their differences
If I'm not mistaken, DC's equivalent of mutants are the metahumans. As such, a team of metahumans would be DC's X-Men. Does DC have a team of metahumans?
I think this is an interesting idea but I don't think Constantine would be on a team like this. I was wondering what are your thoughts on the Krakoan Era of X-Men or the newest Doom Patrol comic where I think they are more like the X-Men from what I've heard?
With all due respect to the cool DC comics, X Men was probably Marvel's most unique and detailed concept. I don't think X Men could be duplicated. The X Men universe is so detailed it could exist completely independently of the rest of the Marvel universe. The core concept is just full of potential.
This team going to be emotional as *****. Everysingle one of them is on the team because they are emotionally wrecked... I'd hate to see them in the heat of battle.... The whole team get to crying....
Well I hope the last thing they'd be required to do is fight when the point is to get these people to overcome their emotional problems. When that stage is complete and they understand their powers, than they can be reliable crime fighters.
@@tyrellmultimedia if that was the point you would see them getting therapy... they are a fighting group more than anything... If that was the point you'd see more counciling going on... That's like saying Batman is a/the worlds best detective but he goes decades at a time without a detective story....
@@cliffwoodbury5319 Ok the concept isn't that hard to understand. The point is to teach these people the extent of their abilities and how to use them properly and responsibly. And a more appropriate comparison is Batman recruiting a boy to be Robin and with limited training and experience, expecting him to go out and fight on his level. That wouldn't happen.
Black Lightning is a principal and has daughters that also have powers. I wouldn't be surprised if he took on a vice-principal role to Niles Caulder. And his daughters would be great as young additions to the school, not on the team but just students.

@@tyrellmultimedia yeah there are some many different variations of it dc could have, I like the idea of a detective or intelligent illuminati with the likes of batman, detective chimp, the flash, Martian manhunter, Mr terrific an the atom, black canary and green arrow could be potential candidates.
My DC's line up of the x-men
Teachers - Black Lightning is the Principal, Harley Quinn is the Therapist, Hardware teaches technology, and Black Canary teaches Hand to Hand/ run team drills
Students - Cassandra Cain, Blue Beetle, Kid Devil, Vibe, Kilowatt, Crush, Argent, El Durado, Asami, Jinx
You should catch up on some Marvel stuff, because I'd love to see you make Marvel versions of DC teams and storylines!
Nice video
Blue beetle would be awesome
Swamp thing died, and then was born again so I would put him on the team
Super girl for obvious reasons
And finally marshin Manhunter
Isn't Blue Beetle basically DC's Spider-Man though?
Who’s your ideal Injustice League where each member has to be a villain of a member of the Justice League?
Thats basically the legion of doom
Captain steel sounds cool.
An interesting idea I've had since discovering your channel is which prominent DC characters could be classified as "mutants" in the Marvel universe and would they join the X-Men or Brotherhood of Mutants?
Dr. Polaris has to be The leader of DCs Brotherhood
Ya he's probably the closest DC has to a Magneto
X-men/mutants universe had amazing hero AND villains. They’re all so unique and powerful af
I would have cyborg Raven black Canary firestorm, vixen and beast boy (changeling) would be a duo,
Zatana would be perfect as a companion for Raven.
Killer Croc would be in the Brotherhood
Born with his powers which disfigure him, embarrassed of what he looks like, has redemption arcs sometimes
This team with Zatana Enchantress Terra and Raven makes it top tier
Aqualad 2.
Can you do on what would an anti-metahuman sentiment would look like and what groups will you create?
How would you feel about the inclusion of kid devil? I feel like he could fill a beast boy role as in someone who was a child coming into the fray but learned from their experience with the team overtime how to grow into their differences
Hmm..🤔 Doom Patrol i need to check them out.
Holy Deja vu Batman! What are we going to do with 37 x-men?
no static shock?!
Ya he's one I completely forgot about. But yes he'd be part of the team.
My DC X-men would consist of:
Chief(Official Leader)
Black Lightning(Field Leader)
Black Canary
StarFire
Raven
Vixen
Maul
WarBlade
Rainmaker
If I'm not mistaken, DC's equivalent of mutants are the metahumans. As such, a team of metahumans would be DC's X-Men. Does DC have a team of metahumans?
Give me a sec,,.I'll give you a real DC mutant team.
I think this is an interesting idea but I don't think Constantine would be on a team like this.
I was wondering what are your thoughts on the Krakoan Era of X-Men or the newest Doom Patrol comic where I think they are more like the X-Men from what I've heard?
I haven't watched this video yet but its doom patrol, they inspired the actual x men
I know, I mention it in the video!
@@tyrellmultimedia yea I noticed right after I said it☠️☠️ I just wanted to be first
I had this concept but with the avengers, you think u can do it?
I can do that!
Uh… Doom Patrol?!
Uh.... watch the video?!
@@tyrellmultimedia LOL... probably a good idea! It's on my "to-do list"...
Why would Chris Jericho be in the X-Men? I mean he can wrestle but he's far from a super hero. I kid. Just found your channel and I dig it!
My DC X-Men would be mostly Titans, a few League.
The doom patrol are dc x-men marvel took inspiration from dc
I know, I say it in the video.
Replace Chief with Oracle
Brotherhood please
With all due respect to the cool DC comics, X Men was probably Marvel's most unique and detailed concept. I don't think X Men could be duplicated. The X Men universe is so detailed it could exist completely independently of the rest of the Marvel universe. The core concept is just full of potential.
Aren't metahumans aka bang babies considered DC's mutants?
This would be a OP team, ppl would REALLY be afraid of them. lol
could oracle have been a good sub for professor x?
You Mean the Doom Patrol
Nah, I mean the X-Men
Haven't watch the vid , but The Legion of Superheros I think are DC X men equivalent
Legion of superheroes seems more like Marvel's squadron supreme than X-Men.
@@iraford5788no there r marvel JL
You lost me at Constantine as your cyclops.
Nice 👍🏼
Good picks....Lobo Deathstroke....Grifter....
Why don't you get into marvel more now that your making videos on it pretty often?
X-men >>>>
DC illuminati🤷♂️
Wolverine is sooooooooo damn overrated.
