Really good to hear your friends stories of the local area Sandy. I could sense his love for it. I know them lanes and Hergest Court - one of my fave buildings in the whole of Herefordshire. Yeah, a good ride through the Elan to - hiked that river from source. Mark
Really enjoyed coming along with you on this one Sandy. I would have gone through the Road Closed as well! The reservoir drone footage was Epic! Thanks Paul 👍👍
Loved the story telling in this. Personal memories are always interesting and its nice to share them. Beautiful drone shots and the glass like reflections of the dam were superb. I was urging you through that road block so I hope you didn’t have to turn back. Well done. I look forward to part 2 😁👍
Superb I love a good cliffhanger. In 1991 the Army beasted us up and down and across the Elan valley for 56 miles. Exercise Harpstring. My feet have never really recovered. It looks lovely now. Not at all how I remember it.
Your biking videos really bring much pleasure to my dad pal. Before all what's happened he was a rider himself, owning many a bike right through to retirement age and a little beyond. As I say he gets a lot of pleasure and replay value out of your trips out on each of the beasts you own. Cheers pal 👍
Fantastic and thank you. Riding perfect bikes in perfect places with a mate is as good as it gets. Your photography, dronage and editing skills are superb. ATVB
The scenery that you filmed on this trip was stunning, especially the drone footage. Also a very fine selection of music was used to accompany it. And I always appreciate the efforts that you put into sharing the history of the structures and landmarks that you encounter. And thanks to Dickie for telling his stories about the area. I am definitely looking forward to part two. Enjoy yourself and stay safe and healthy (both you and the family.)

Thank you for sharing this trip! I lived in Aberystwyth for 8 months, but never got a chance to visit Devil's Bridge, which is a bummer. This is pulling at my heartstrings -- in a good way :)
Now that was absolutely stunning sandy and I really really enjoyed watching this. Stunning scenery, great friends and great content this is YOU at your best ♥️♥️♥️ loved it. More of that please 😊🤘🏻♥️
Brilliant vid and stunning scenery, fantastic area for biking, few of us stop at Radnor Revivals, a bikers accommodation stop, can’t wait to get back up that way on the bikes 👍

I’m currently laid up with a touch of vertigo. Pretty miserable experience feeling dizzy all the time. However it’s all a great pleasure to come along on an adventure with you from the comfort of the front room. Ride safe! Andy
Superb production Sandy, must say your video and photography is amongst the best, well put together and mixed to perfection, love Wales with some great roads, well done ignoring road closed, done it several times and been lucky, ride safe.
All those wonderful houses. Dickie is really in a. hurray now 🤩. Is Pipper all right? Very beautiful scenery, Sandy. The footage of that lake is awesome. Dickie is a good driver.
Outstanding Sandy. Hergest Croft was the black and white huge farm house. Former home of Black Vaughan, said to be the inspiration for Conan-Doyle’s Hound of the Baskervilles. You weren’t there last weekend. As I spotted a couple of Himalayan’s as I drove to Kington where the Croft is. Leave Valley is wonderful, captured the autumn colours brilliantly.
Ah so the Greater Spotted Wiltshire Man was what I came across. Great stuff Sandy, been following your channels since the early days. Part two please. Good luck and good health to you and your family.
Very good Sandy , great scenery and nice twisty roads . Isn't it amazing however long ago they build that dam the top is dead level with the waterline , a bit of a weird thing to say but thats me :-)
That was a great day of riding Sandy. Beautiful scenery. I had many days in Arizona when the destination became questionable when we were not sure we could get there from here.
@@WiltshireMan I don't ever remember being cold there, '03 - '07. Here in Kentucky it is still warm enough to wear shorts and sandals every day. Cool weather won't appear until end of October. Cheers Sandy.
Ah, Barrow Wake - famous for dogging and the Birdlip Mirror, a late Iron Age bronze mirror found in a burial there. Cracking drone shots! Thanks for another fine video, and all the best from Gloucester.
Another brilliant video and Wales is a lovely place. I will have to do that trip myself one day in the near future. The Himalayan is growing on me and may well get one to do these sort of trips on. Thank you for another great video Sandy.
Can't beat a good Cliff Hanger, but most of his hits were in the 60's weren't they? Great adventure, W.M.- thanks for sharing - you picked wisely with the weather, it seems. Those 'Road Closed' signs only seem to appear long after you have significantly committed yourself to a certain route - never at the nominal start of it. Grumble, grumble.. (o;
Great video, that's a wonderful area to ride I do it regularly and there are some great trails there as well. There is another great mountain road back across from Tregaron that is worth a visit also if you carry on to Aberystwyth and head down the coast there is a lovely little place called New Quay. You can sit by the harbour with a bag of fish and chips and watch the world go by. 😀
Really good to hear your friends stories of the local area Sandy. I could sense his love for it. I know them lanes and Hergest Court - one of my fave buildings in the whole of Herefordshire. Yeah, a good ride through the Elan to - hiked that river from source. Mark
Great video and photography! Enjoyed Dickie sharing his family history!

This is classic Wiltshire Man content. A bit of learning, a bit of history, a bit of improvisation. Well done.

Almost like glass the water on the reservoir. That drone shot pulling back through the tree 😎
Bloody close to that tree, Sandy. The perils of flying backwards...
All the best.
Good photo composition 👌
Always good mate but this vlog was outstanding. I also ride and Dickie looks a good biker to follow, nice and smoothly progressive.
Yes Dickie is a great biker, he's been riding over 40 years:)
Looking forward to Part 2, Sandy. ☘️
You are an inspiration mate. A welcome break from the norm( if we can call it the norm anymore ) what with Co-Vid and whatnot 🙂
Yes I know Dino, its a crazy world this world of man but nature continues at it's own pace regardless

Cannot beat a good cliff hanger. Just hope it is figurative not literal.
Haa, we got to the campsite OK in the end Dave
Very good Sandy , great scenery and nice twisty roads . Isn't it amazing however long ago they build that dam the top is dead level with the waterline , a bit of a weird thing to say but thats me :-)
It's just the laws of nature I guess, they knew how to build back then thanks to a spirit level
