I was following you until I got to 1:37. "With your second color is black, remove it." What? Edit: After going through the comments, what the creator was trying to say was "Press the backspace key" which hides the text.
Hey :) Gotcha. I was looking at the small color cubes you saw highlighted in the tool box left hand side. The first / front color is white, which means you paint on a mask with white - "make it visible". Your second color is black which is your eraseor color - "make it invisible". So I deleted the selected area by pressing the backspace / delete key on the keyboard to mask out the area. Hope this helps ;) ✌🏻Ana
Hey, could you tell me the time code so I can take a look at what you mean exactly? If you want to delete sth from a selection simply click the remove, it's the small arrow on the right hand side of your keyboard which points to the left. Ana
@@anayvy hey ana thanks for replying i am new to to photoshop and struggling how did you hide the layer at 1:50 also how did you change to mask view at 2:16 double click doesnt do it for me
if you want to paint black on the mask you need to make sure your brush color is set to black or your eraser colour is set to black. You can see the currently set colour in the two small coloured square shapes on the left hand side in the lower third of the window? there you simply double click and choose a colour. Let me know if this answers your question ☺️
Hey! There should be no blurriness in combination with the steps you took with the tutorial. I would recommend to check the timeline if there where some accidentally made keyframes. Besides that maybe check the resolution? I'm sorry, I can't really help you with this since it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the tutorial itself and I don't have any additional information why is going on with the file.
@@ibrahimwaziri2343 please check out the video description 🙃 but to make it a bit more clear, it's not "part 1 & 2 " it's more like 2 different options to achieve a similar effect. Have fun!
