Awesome tutorial ☀️ Thank you much for sharing 🙏
THIS IS SO USEFUL, THANK YOU
This really is one of the best tutorials on ps animations. I would have used blender, to model it as a 3D scene and animate , or AE to simulate what you just brilliantly did. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this. Great vid.
Thank you so much, you're a great teacher and motivated me to return to photoshop! Thanks
That's awesome! But why did you "quit" Photoshop in the first place?
Thanks, Cristi! I was waiting for this! 🙌🏻
I worked a lot on this one, to be honest. Glad you like it!

Ouuw ,,, great tutorial. I usually use DP Animation Maker software. just found out now, it turns out we can use photoshop 👍👍👍
And this is only the beginning with what you can do in Photoshop! Glad you loved this video :)
This helped me sm but how do i add the wind effect and blinking
Thank you so much for this!
So happy this was helpful to you!
@@CristiKerekes It really was. Your instructions were so easy to follow. I tried out 3 other videos and yours was the best. I successfully finished my very first Photoshop project because of you!
@@lineasdessertdiary Wow! This is really nice for me to hear. It motivates me to create more content here on RUclips. I enjoy helping others!
Wonderful 😊
Thanks for the video. I am trying to learn hoe to make a sea shore with moving waves. Any thoughts?
Cinemagraphs are the coolest of animated gifs.
I will make a cinemagraph tutorial as well.
Your tutorials are too good. Love from India❤❤ 🇮🇳
Thank you so much 😀 Love from Romania too!
@@CristiKerekes you replied sir wow😲
It doesnt work for me, i click stop watch start the position at the beginning, then move the line, and choose transform, i move the image and the yellow dot does not appear on its own, so i press enter to lock the new position and press the yellow dot for the second position and press play, it just stays in the same position on both yellow dots. what am i doing wrong?
Keep Making :)
For sure :)
I've been looking at this exact tutorial and you hit me with this. Thank you! Can photoshop animate also a fireplace and to generate a video out from the tool?
With the same technique you could animate multiple flames for the fireplace. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi Cris, thank you for this awesome tutorial. I have a q, do we need to merge all the layers before exporting/saving it? Thank you again.
My pleasure! You don't need to do that.
Hi Cristi, excellent work is it possible few small gif. you can put so we can do more practice...
I can't rotate selection in a frame. When I apply rotation, it applies on all frames but I want to apply rotation to the last frame and add tweening between 1st and last frame to animate rotation.
Can we add small gif in to big picture? Like place that candle in the corner of a picture?
Ok new challenge, make animation look good at 400x150 @ 70kb. My pain.. as someone who designs signatures for people..
This video was fun to watch!
Pls do more vedio for us🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Very interesting and creative, thanks! I have Photshop 2021 with all updated Software
When I do this, I run into some bumps:
When I choose the pentool to pen / select the flame, PS seems to not let me select the flame next step (shortly) later
in order to move it via the " box" selection to move it with the arrows. Plus, when I hit "Command J" on mac, it also adds a duplicate layer instead of a new layer with just the flame ------- All these problems do not happen when I use the quick selection tool instead of the pen tool. Maybe something in the pentool settings I need to check - - ?
BTW, when I use the Timeline, the original full candle image is added, not just the added layers --- On yours the timeline seems to just show the new added layers automatically, and does not include the orig candle background image.
In the Timeline - - - It won't copy and paste the keyframe settings. I am following your instructions on my mac. When it does copy and paste, it is not aligned timewise (vertically). Can't seem to figure these out so far. Seems I also hit shift on Mac to select all the keyframes I am new to PS, so Any thoughts would help ? Maybe (only part) of the mistakes are sometimes pc vs mac keys - ? But not all
Thanks in advance for any help,
Sorry for having those issues. They could be Photoshop issues, or it could be that you are missing some crucial steps. I recommend watching the video again, because by missing simple steps could lead you to unwanted results.
Unfortunately I can only imagine what is happening on your screen, otherwise it's hard for me to offer a solution from distance. I have another animation tutorial on the channel, maybe you should try with that one, it's easier: ruclips.net/video/ipHlZ-EzEnI/видео.html
My timeline doesn't look like the video either. I think we are using the same version of Photoshop. Having a hard time following the exact steps or even modifying to achieve the desired outcome.
how do you know exactly what shade of colour you want to add and manipulate?
Plz can u do a vdo on indesign
(Mbl or desktop interface)
Sorry pal, I can't understand what is "vdo".
Can anyone guide me what to do for making a gif for same flame picture
Im using ps cc .and i dont have the format H.264 .and can't save the video.pls can you help me with this? Which format will made my photo into a video? Help me pls 😢
hi! thank you for your content! is it possibile to export a stop motion in 4k?
You're welcome! Of course, you just need to use the proper resolution of a 4k format and of course have footage that is close to 4k or higher.
@@CristiKerekes oh! i meant stop motion from pictures! thanks for your answer!
@@malavida13 Yes, sorry. I wrote "footage". You can export stop motion at any resolution. However, I would use Premiere Pro for stop motion clips.
Can we combine a photo with video in photoshop?
Upon creating the timeline, a box appears in the left side with my image inside. No bars like on yours??
any tool to edit videos without payment?
File>Export>Render Video> Adobe Media encoder option is greyd out. I only see photoshop image sequence option. Help?
Thank you sir, subscribe and like
Welcome to #CKsquad! :)
0.46 second I don't Do ...I do do duplicate please help me
Didnt know photoshop had a animate feature like flash
I guess since flash is no longer supported.
Mine takes FOREVER To render!!!!!
I assume your PC is a bit slow, or the resolution of the image is higher than 1920x1080.
@@CristiKerekes Thanks. 32GB of RAM. I switched over to Adobe CS6 and it rendered quick. Adobe CC, doesn't even give me a pop-up window to pick render settings when I click "Render." :(
too complicated
that's so subjective :)
doesn't work..doen't animate..followed every step carefully. I bet you didn't tell all the details, did you?
Sorry you can't succeed with this. PS: if you'd bet, you'll definitely lose, haha. I didn't hide anything.
@@CristiKerekes but you didn't convert the layer in smart object..I have double checked this..if i use convert into smart object to the layer ,then set those animated frame the animation works and all other things have done same as you
