Yes. OP did put the money towards securing her children’s future by paying off the credit card debt, putting food on the table, & making sure a huge chunk of the mortgage was paid off so they’d always have a home to live in & wouldn’t risk foreclosure. They are still only living paycheck to paycheck. The brother makes more money, so had no immediate need for it & was able to create a college fund for his kids. That is a privilege. If grandpa wanted the fund to be specifically used for college, he should have set up a college trust fund. Securing/investing in your child’s future can take many forms. Investing in stocks & bonds, setting up a college fund, setting up a trust fund, extra lessons for special interests/hobbies, paying for necessary medical procedures for a vary I’ll child, paying off a mortgage sot secure a home, etc……

But if they are merely allowed but not catered to then people are not expecting them in that environment and you need to be mindful of the people around you. Especially if you have the loud energetic sort who likes running around like they're at Chuck E Cheese's. Be respectful.

YOU WILL BE EATING BY YOURSELF, AND YOU MUST PAY THE TIP. DON'T WORRY, I'LL PUT IT ON THE BILL AND TAKE IT FROM YOUR ALLOWANCE. ALSO, YOU WILL NOT BE GOING TO YOUR BROTHER'S DINNER.
I'm not chosing to lie to you; we cannot afford that dinner without making other sacrifices... like NO VACATION. Since rest of us don't want to make that sacrifice, YOU must make the sacrifice for your expensive dinner. Parents will call ahead and make arrangements to pay for the meal and tip over the phone, BUT SISTER MUST PAY FOR HER UBER TO AND FROM THE PLACE AND MOM WILL PULL THE TIP FROM HER ALLOWANCE. Force her to invest in this expensive meal, to drive the point home. Sister is looking at $50 tip alone, up to that much for an Uber ride to and from. Is spending $100 of her own money truly worth a meal that expensive?
I'm not seeing where Aunty would gain anything from putting the daughter up to this; but her siding with her as a dig against Aunty's sister... I can see that.
Should the sister say: THAT'S NOT FAIR! It's not a celebration if I'm by myself; why should I have to pay for anything!?
Oh, then ask your aunty to take you and pay for you and herself.

The baby name story: “family opinions are important and everyone should be able to express them”. Sure, and the sister did express her opinion and it was ignored. What she meant was “you should listen to my opinion over your own because I’m so important”.

Rich Dinner: I don't care how good the kid has been, if the dinner is too expensive, it doesn't happen. That'll be a good lesson in realism for her. You don't always get what you ask for or deserve, sometimes you get solely what you or the person paying can afford. But if she truly only wants to try it? Fine. One adult takes her, they SHARE an appetizer, and only drink water. And when THAT costs more than two normal meals, explain why she's eating crackers for the next two days.

S1: YTA. This is lowkey funny. Did Op really think he wouldn't be the AH when he's demanding his gf, who he don't even help with rent, to move in his pregnant 'friend' for free? The fact that the friend was rude to the gf and got evicted because she refuse to pay her previous landlord is the cherry on top, lol. He's delusional if he truly believe he's right here.

I would have quoted Ayn Rand to the sister: "Don't offer unsolicited opinions; it will spare you the embarrassing discovery of their exact value to your listeners."
