It's a tiny space but the rent is 48000 yen, which is really cheap for a Sharehouse. I live in Tokyo and I checked Sharehouses on many websites, and most are 60000 yen a month or more. The Sharehouse I live at now is 83000 yen a month, but everyone has a kitchen in their room, and my room is double the size of the room in this video.

That’s not real right? What editing softwares do you use?
I am surprised about the shared house. Living in Tokyo myself with my family and i lived in shared housing in the UK but think it is uncommon in Japan.
I wonder why his accommodation is so expensive for a room only? 48 for rent plus utilities sounds way too expensive for a shared house. I remember seeing the Sobu line in the video so along that line many stations would be not too inaka but cheaper to rent an apartment by himself. 🤔

@@eatnplaytoday Depends on the people you live with. If you share with, say, friends or very close acquaintances, it can be a great option, as long as you establish norms and boundaries. Also, depends on the type of house, this one seems quite large and well distributed (bedrooms and kitchen in each floor, each person has a private space). I don't see it as a long term deal, however. But it's a great option while you're either living in a city temporarily, or are saving for an apartment for yourself.
