Wow, this fellow sure is talented. Went from an Italian chef to a music producer, all while keeping a steady job in advertising. Good for him for living such an active lifestyle!
lets go! I was waiting on a new episode of "Day in the life". Thank you both for recording and filming and thank you to the amazing Kaishu-San for letting us get a glimpse into his life!
I like that Kaishu really carves out time for his passion. In today's world, it is very doable to have a job to pay the bills, and still do personal projects. So I hope everyone here never forgets to make time for their true passions 💕 Thanks, Ken! Great video as always! Thanks so much for sharing ❤
10 people share that tiny space??? that's barely a kitchen O_O edit: I know that's typical in Japan but for 10 people sharing I would expect a much bigger kitchen and more toilets/ bathrooms/ washers :|
I used to share a huge apartment with 2 other roommates, and we would ALWAYS argue because we needed the bathroom or kitchen at the same time... I can't imagine how it is for them lol
@@IAmQuebby right? At uni I lived with 7 other people and we all shared a kitchen with 2 fridges, luckily we had our own ensuites (fancy i know lol) but waiting for others to cook and running out of fridge space was so annoying lol. I can't imagine having to set up a timetable for 10 people to shower at night, let alone cook, do laundry and chores. no wonder this guy goes to the bath house lol
It's a tiny space but the rent is 48000 yen, which is really cheap for a Sharehouse. I live in Tokyo and I checked Sharehouses on many websites, and most are 60000 yen a month or more. The Sharehouse I live at now is 83000 yen a month, but everyone has a kitchen in their room, and my room is double the size of the room in this video.
it's not much better than this in most major cities around the world, especially here in USA you can expect to pay more than 1200 a month just for a shoebox in most East Coast cities
As I have written many times, I am Italian and I have never seen such crap cooked in Italy. Having said that as a producer he is certainly talented, even if the individuality scares me a bit, I prefer to spend the days with my girlfriend or friends, rather than using my time alone. In any case, I wish him the best, the result of his work is wonderful. Great editing Ken!
I wondered how is the tolerance level of noise in the shared house. U cant produce music and practice guitar at lowest volume. Next door will surely hear something
Especially since many houses and apartments in Japan are built with paper thin walls that lack any semblance of soundproofing or insulation. I'm honestly surprised he's allowed instruments in a sharehouse. Many private apartments in Japan have a no instruments allowed policy.
when using a 24 hour clock you dont have to indicated that its am or pm. thats the entire point of a 24 hour clock. you wrote 0:05pm but 0:05 actually mean 5 mins past midnight. it should simply be 12:05 if you want to indicate 5 mins past midday
I'm a bit confused how he's playing guitar and producing music with speakers inside his share house room. None of the housemates complained? or he has a special sound-proof room?
Thats not a healthy way to live, with less and less socialising, smaller places, wonder why Japan has so high suicide and depression rates, where I come from people live in relative big houses, and are very social, family oriented, loud, the economic situation is not as good as in Japan but people here do feel more happier and with more freedom.
@@cosmindvd I get a feeling that in Japan you either have lots of money and can afford something really nice or you are fck and gotta live like a rat 🐀 lol Nothing in between but I might be wrong of course.
For the price of rent he's currently paying, if he cut down on his alcohol expenses and added it to his rent budget instead, he could get his own place. Man's getting ripped off.
Great video! Japan is not just about the daily routine...it has a hidden culture that can enrich you both physically and metaphysically! From @Japanontology
Came across this channel just now, wondering what’s up with the automatic sounding voice? 🤔🙄 That’s not real right? What editing softwares do you use? I am surprised about the shared house. Living in Tokyo myself with my family and i lived in shared housing in the UK but think it is uncommon in Japan. I wonder why his accommodation is so expensive for a room only? 48 for rent plus utilities sounds way too expensive for a shared house. I remember seeing the Sobu line in the video so along that line many stations would be not too inaka but cheaper to rent an apartment by himself. 🤔
Funny how at ruclips.net/video/SM2-DgxmUjk/видео.html the narrator says "toys" instead of anime figurines or Shinobu Oshino figure but is able to say the brand of the footwear ruclips.net/video/SM2-DgxmUjk/видео.html . Awesome job with the video by the way!
usually it is, but in his shared house it seemed peaceful. I lived with other people in EU apartment and it was just crazy, they were making so much noise I couldn't sleep.
@@eatnplaytoday Depends on the people you live with. If you share with, say, friends or very close acquaintances, it can be a great option, as long as you establish norms and boundaries. Also, depends on the type of house, this one seems quite large and well distributed (bedrooms and kitchen in each floor, each person has a private space). I don't see it as a long term deal, however. But it's a great option while you're either living in a city temporarily, or are saving for an apartment for yourself.
I'll never get tired of these videos

People have different time some work on day and some at night. It's not like in uni where you wake up almost the same.
Great video!
His make up is so basic yet effective!

You can plug the guitar on the computer so he is not being too loud. Also everyone loves Miku

$400 a month? Wow!
pay in japan is way to low..... but look at the super low grocery prices!
and what a talented guy!
No, the grocery prices are above average. In particular fresh veggies in Tokyo are very expensive.

Not if he's living in Shinagawa.
It's a big business district and super expensive.
If he wants his own place, he would have to move far away.
puts on makeup then goes out in mask Japan xD
Do Japanese always do laundry every morning? I see multiple people do laundry in morning in these videos 😅
I guess every asian does that

I strongly agree with you even 48k yen is just the rent, they even charge 15k yen for electricity, water, etc. per person. It's a bit much for me
