Reading Psalms 22 was the most emotional reading for me in the whole Bible. I was and still am so overwhelmed that this was written 1000 years before the crucifixion of our Lord. How anybody can read this and deny our Lord is astonishing as it is heartbreaking. I pray for those souls. This is one of the most important Biblical texts ever written.

I like the example they give people trying to quit smoking, when you feel like having a smoke just wait three minutes and when the three minutes are up the desire to smoke will have passed. It is similar to temptations of the flesh, just turn away and say no, you will be much happier in yourself when you pray to God that night know you fought the good fight during the day, and won the day's battle against the Devil.

Psalm 69:21b: “For my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.” When he said he was thirsty and was offered wine vinegar, Jesus was pointing us back to this verse from Psalm 69. 🙌🏻

The soldiers mock Him, offering Him “sour wine” (Luke 23:36), which later He did indeed drink (John 19:28-29). John explicitly says in 19:28 that Jesus knowingly asked for the drink “in order to fulfill Scripture.

I cant imagine the pain and suffering Jesus went through. I cannot watch that part in the resurrection. It tears my heart apart. My kiddos once told me everytime we sin, we put him back on the cross.

Regarding the gall-laced wine, I read in an article by Got Questions that gall (a bitter-tasting substance made of wormwood or myrrh) was mixed with wine to dull the sense of pain. Jesus refused it. He endured the full pain to save our souls. I truly cannot fully comprehend the magnitude of this Gift. Thank you, DLM, for bringing up this subject. It's because of you, Daniel, that I looked further into this.

God has recently give me this. When He said a I thirst he was not speaking of the natural use of satisfying the flesh but He hungered and thirst for the Father.

Mathew 26 vs 29 kjv but I say unto you I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my father's kingdom.... but as in the video he did taste it 2 more times . One of 2 lies Jesus told the othere was that he be dead 3 days and 3 nights in the Hart of the earth . He was only dead 2 days 2 nights .... strange he is bringing up this story what's his motives ?
