FALL FOOD PLOTS ARE IN!

My special blend; Ladino Clover, Red Clover, Purple Top Turnips, Collards, Oats. The spring plots were a bust. I used Heirloom seeds in freshly disced fields, the weeds took over.
Hopefully these fall plots do better.
Update: the crows were covering the fields eating the seeds. I went back over all the fields with 15-15-15 and the chain drag to bury the seeds. Ok now

I have a problem spreading oats through the solo seeder too, they don’t flow very well through them. I’m really going back and forth on buying one of those chain drags, do they make the fields really smooth and fill in low spots?

The only time I have a problem with the Solo is broadcasting soybeans. They get stuck under the agitator. The chain drag is the best!! It scratches up the surface just enough for the seeds to touch soil, and also mixes them in after spreading
