I think it's great because this was a massive slap in the face to those show runners/writers/producers who so arrogantly thought that they could hijack Star Wars and twist it into something it never was meant to be. If you want to make your own show, make your own show. Don't change Star Wars to suit a narrative.
I just want to know what they were planning. I don't want to watch more but i want an outline/bullet pointed list of plot points just to see what they were thinking bc it made me mad but i was wondering if there was hope. lol I also hate not knowing the ending.
I actually support diversity and identity politics, what I don't support is bad writing... Andor is by far the most political show and it's also by far the best
I loved obi wan and ahsoka but this one really irritated me with no real plot and it was very confusing half the time. Plus they slaughtered off half the main characters with no reason and it built no connection with the audience.
obi wan had some good parts but it was very hit or miss for me. I liked seeing more of ewan in the role but a lot of the scenes felt very stilted and it was weird how weak they made him at time. Sometimes he was a one man army and other times if 4 people had blasters on him he would surrender
@gilly-uv2vt My issue with Andor was the first few episodes could have been in any generic sci-fi setting. The only way you knew it was Star Wars is because they told you. It did get much better, but the pacing was a little slow.
Identity politics matter bc it affects the quality of writers, directors and producers. I’m a woman and I’m ashamed of the quality of work women are producing in entertainmen industry . Identity politics IS the reason this show, as you say, sucks.

Andor had great writing, story, visuals, actors, etc what more could you want? The acolyte on the other hand had hardly any of those things

Not enough lightsabers to keep folks entertained I suppose. I didn't mind Andor. Wasn't bad but wasn't great imo. Couldn't stand the Acolyte though.
