I am giving you a quarter of $100 free voucher so you don't need credit card and no KYC!! you can build a whole AI company just on this.
they see me rolling they hatin'...
Datasets to purchase on all popular platforms, scraping infra - even the darknet can't compete.
If you dont try now afterwards you will have to KYC (know-your-customer) this is an exceptional situation I am just saying...
I mean just try, you getting credits and experience for free. only thing youre wasting is 5 minutes but the tool is fast in onboarding so obviously 5 minutes is little compared to what you r learning

between two ferns
Hahaha omg, didn't know this would see the light of day 🤦♂ Definitely not "2024" - Capsule video has evolved a ton as a product and a business since this interview. Still no crypto component... but we are looking for another killer Senior Frontend Engineer if anyone's interested lol
Please don’t pouch the 10x coders. I need all of them for quinoa coin!!
Honest question, did you really not know this was a parody?
There is way to integrate some "crypto components" by allowing exporting to IPFS. :)
do you hire from EU?
Did you figure out what "AI" is in the meantime?
"So that's a great question."
"Thank you."
Seriously, I have no idea why I laughed so hard on this one
@@wtcxdm Because it's hilarious.
@@wtcxdm it is just so unexpected while still a perfectly appropriate thing to say
"They barely believe computers exist, let alone NFTs"
Looks down at his phone to watch the ad mid-interview.
His freaking expression when he heard "Python", and then said, "ask me what my favorite programming language is."
"What's your favorite programming language?"
"Rust."
This is freaking GOLD. I kept thinking, "this reminds me of Zach Galifianakis' between two ferns," and then I saw "between two ferns" in the description. So good!
Less an interview and more of a brutal attack.
"Where moon landing was filmed"
A lot of people are gonna miss that and it was probably one of the best lines 😂
Nah, I heard they filmed on location
They let it slip so casually one would have missed it. It is GOLD!!!!
You know why chatgp FEELS so smart? Because it always gives you an answer, even if it is wrong, like a politician.
Its smart because people are dumb enough to fall for it.
And soon it'll reach general human level of intelligence, not because it is getting smarter, but because consumers, I mean, humans are getting dumber.
100%, this yes exactly
Confidently wrong is worse than "I don't know"
Absolutely!
this is SOOO true!!
Holy shit, the uncanny valley of documentary vs parody.
It's a mockumentary
Very good analogy, it falls short in that the original is an undesirable emergence to be overcome whereas this parallel is a delightful form of art.
Philomena Cunk vibes
Highly Bruno and Who is America inspired. It's nice
I love how this channel went from bits on programmer life to the only journalism I trust
Getting Borat vibes. Love it 👏
I like crypto, very nice!
I had the exact thought while watching this! Kai is Borat for Tech.
I think he's paying homage to another sacha baron cohen show called Who Is America? where he disguises himself and interviews people across America
i rushed down the comment section to type this very statement lmao
It’s very similar to who is America or even older: Ali G
this is so surreal 😂 how do you get these people to do these interviews
They're desperate for attention
“What is Ruby on Rails?”
😂😂😂lost it
Ha ha.. yea. But what is it? Really. Ruby Rose in some movie about rails?
He handled the creativity question really well lmao
AI companies all know their main demo is idea guys

"At what point did you look at yourself and say, 'I have to start selling NFT'?" --> Incredible.
That was the first thing to make me laugh out loud in, like, a couple weeks.
I work at a startup that's using AI to do things for teams that don't have the budget to hire people to do (not video) - it would crack me up to see someone from my C-Suite try to explain our product in this format. Joseph handled that great, probably got more traffic from this than from the average Hacker News post or podcast appearance.
Holy shit next level production value upgrade.
The best product placement yet.
you are like the tech Brüno of this generation

We all knew he was gonna say “python” and we were all looking forward to the disparaged look on your face shortly after. Your videos have gotten so good ❤
Python, used by grad students and children. With a user base of millions .... of children!

@@andrewschroeder9502 not gonna lie, I made this comment as a security researcher capable of at least, mediocre rust code at a lower level, but still chooses to use Python for my own quality of life OS scripting lmao
@@s_t_8_l_e_s_s I'm really just a hobbyist myself, and when I do code it's invariably Python! I just thought it would be funny to reference an earlier video on this channel as an "in joke"
@@andrewschroeder9502 I got the reference 😆. I’m sure there’s a matplotlib distribution plot somewhere of programmers that work in C by trade, but use Python to automate their torrent folder to convert all video files to .mkv

"The uncreative people from HR." I would also add managers :) That was actually a bullseye 😂
2:40 Did y'all know that according to most formal (and legal) definitions, a _flippin' _*_Linear Regression_* is considered AI?
Not a joke-AI literally pre-dating computers, and if you limit your definition to what _most people_ agree is AI, then you've merely limited the range to when "computers" had names like "Mary," "Katherine" and "Augusta."
The thing is, some people say that stuff like image classification and other deep learning methods don’t count as AI, or that anything short of literal human intelligence is not AI. the best of the best used to be a symbolic model which used facts about the world to infer new knowledge using only logical rules and relationships. We would hardly call that smart nowadays, but of course it was AI back in the day. In the future, I’d imagine some even question if stuff like gpt4 should be considered AI. I guess what I’m saying is the meaning shifts over time, and that makes it hard to keep legal definitions accurate since the connotation changes all the time
yep, and all of Mathematics and Statistics is now called AI.
I never believed in my life time someone would be able to market mathematics and actually make money with it.
Very true. I remember in my university AI course, we spent weeks on the advanced path search/ permutation algorithms and many of the students were very disappointed that something like Google Maps directions is AI that they had to study. AI is a much wider topic than ML though many conflate the two
The moment a human realized some sort of productivity could be automated without 1 to 1 supervision is honestly how I view the start of AI. Certainly precedes the Turing test or “Expert System” programmable computers of the 1940s. We called it programming for a while, but that was just a way of describing our ability to automate systems and models of reality.
@@monad_tcpwho is be surprised that artificial intelligence is applied mathematics? Real Intelligence is ultimately a specialised analogue computer doing signal processing.

kudos. he handled the questions really well. (all questions are good questions.)
Even the stupid ones.
FEEEEL THE GENERAL INTELLIGENCE
So fun, from the beginning!
The prologue tell it all, from where the moonlanding has been recorded to the self-driving car crushing a pedestrian.
Let's enjoy it...
please tell me you let this poor guy know you're trolling him post-interview
At this point he must have known in advance. It's still free advertisement, isn't it? I mean, if you meet Master Ken you also know what you'll get into.
Fwiw, he definitely knows *now* as he's hopping around the comments section
Love the charis! Very authentic and progressive!
this reminded me of "Between the ferns" with Zach Galifianakis :-D
"Shot on Sony Beta cassettes" 🤣🤣
This man takes my continued childhood interest in computers and their programming, and bashes it into my film degree. I love it.
0:50 "in California [...] where the moon landing was filmed" xD
You have to assume this entire documentary was cut with ffmpeg.
- but on Windows 11!
You did such a great job
Because holy shit, this was hard to watch.
These are glorious! Thank you for sharing your beautiful sense of humor to the world.
The Borat and Bruno impact is hard. Love it.

I knew there was something I liked about this guy.
To this day I can't figure out if they know who they're talking to going in or not
The next step is to make an AI that randomly makes data Non-Fungible so other AIs can’t use it.

Great interview, purely because it’s so utterly awkward. Kudos for the interviewee for being such a great sport!
Ask me. Rust.

This hurt my soul to watch, bravo
IT MAKES ME LOOK STUPID, DOESN'T IT?
Dev Philomena Cunk is peak comedy, I love the interview series HAHAHA I'm sure the interviewer also uses arch (btw) to reach that peak Rust performance. 👌😩
Hilarious as usual. It’s good for the companies to get involved. Ruby and c++ ?
This guy has a future in entertainment. My word every interview is gold!
The handshake no...
The bow at the end 😆
Like a cherry on top
He mastered the subtle art of self-assured insulting body language. He is the type of interviewer most respectable people of any authority would run away from to hide under their bed and call for mom.
Brilliant, just brilliant!
Keep going lads!
At 3:11 the founder says they have a few hundred paying customers and focused on enterprise customers. I am guessing this is not a real interview because most people in tech are not direct and to the point when it comes to finance and revenue.
High-budget shitposting. High-octane cringe. Love it.
"Please try on Chrome desktop. More support coming soon..." on the poster is is hilarious
This guy is horribly underrated - the modern tech Borat
How will he integrate, vim?
The CEO doesn't actually know what AI is? his answer is staggering for an AI startup leader!
"What is Ruby on Rails?" hahahaha. Nice.
The screenshot of their website on Firefox when they don't support it was hilarious xD
of we finally see what is in those notes. Awesome. Missed that in previous video
C3PO was 10/10
Yeah nice golden color
eric andre would be proud of you, god bless
Anyone know if his guests are aware (in advance) that he's in character and doing comedy?
I find it hard to believe people would go so long trying to be serious if they didn’t realise it was comedy, but who knows maybe the social pressure in the moment just makes them more hesitant to call our strange behaviour / questions?
why are you so sure this is a comedy 🤔
it is just a genius in disguise
Tech Sacha Baron Cohen
“Ask me what mine is” 😂 💀

How do you not know what AI is, it's everything..
They barely believe computers exist, let alone NFTs 😂😂
Woohoo so happy to see this
It's almost like the industry is not convinced about crypto. What a shock!
ah yes, the nerd's favorite activity; asking someone their programming language, followed by intense judgement.
I think he should start interviewing politicians.
Provide link to their NFTs pls thx
holy shit_ , capsule acually exists !
The look you give him when he mentions the company is on social media, like he was lying to you when he said he was not personally on social media 😂😂😂

Sasha Baron Cohen would be proud!
at this point its worth being a major shareholder of startups just to make these videos most convincing
funny premise but painful to watch... try some 'Yes Men' tactics to get the big dogs :)
I'd love to see one of these on the diehards who do everything in a terminal (pine for e-mail, lynx for web browsing, if it doesn't use curses they don't use it), the people still writing in troff (whether for man pages or they just hate TeX), Dvorak keyboard users etc
Curses is bloat.
w3m & dvorak ain't hard on my knuckles.
@@Houshalter For something like "have colors in ls" sure just hardcode the ANSI sequences, but for a full-screen program like nano you absolutely need it, unless you want to effectively reimplement curses in full like pine did or you just don't care if your program breaks when e.g. the user resizes the window or you don't care if some terminal emulators don't work properly with your program.
@@ssl3546 i was half joking. But curses is for GUIs that happen to run in a terminal. It's nice but it's usually going to be "less minimal" than a command line interface and be much harder to automate.
Guys please don't like or comment this video, so he can actually keep doing this sort of interviews with his alter ego.
