It's always best to have a solid plan before you get too far into things.. great work on mocking things up. It'll save headaches down the road.. Huge HUGE congrats on 10k!! Keep up the hustle... onward to 100k now! 🤘
That raked stance is old school. More like my era. By the way…today is a special day. This is the date of the original launch of the Mustang. Friday April 17th, 1964. 8 weeks to the day, before I was born. Cool beans. I’m really liking the clean look you’re going for in the engine bay. Keep up the good work.
If you ever have to straighten a messed up hole in the future again, here's a little tip: use a piece of threaded rod, a few beafy washers and 2 nuts. You can then straighten the bent hole back by tightening the nuts and when those nuts are tightened you can use the threaded rod as a lever to manipulate the sheet metal in that area if necessary. Greetings from Belgium!
I think she told him how easier it would be, if he worked it out on a whiteboard beforehand. This helps to figure out problems beforehand. That is the reason why when she rewired Mr.Dos she didn't have alot of problems.
2:13 ya know, there is a new invention called "oil" that might help with that squeak. It's amazing! The wire looks like it is good quality. Good thing. That light falling was hilarious.
Great restore job young felah,l have a similar project and needs to get motivated before l drop off. Like you and have the talent to get it done as soon as everyone stops coming over for a mens chat
Thanks, I was racking my brain trying to remember the name of those things. As a marine diesel mechanic that also built up gen sets with enclosures, we used those things by the thousands.
Whiteboard, I wonder where you got that idea it’s cool. I wish I had thought of it here ago. Sure be a piece of paper nails in the windshield. Stay clear reading late what you’re doing that very informative very clean the way to do it, brother.
If you put the starter solenoid in the trunk, you can have the big wire for the starter only hot when starting, and run another wire hot all the time for the rest of the front of the car. This can be a smaller gauge and the big wire won’t burn the car down if it rubs against something.
yeah i kinda dig the higher rear end tbh. Gives you way more flex when you give it the beans, y'know? :D Gratz on 10k, you're a humble man, and that's sexy as hell from where i come from. Onwards and upwards!
Congrats on the 10k. The slight lift to the rear in the Mustang looks fairly period to me. And i remember having a lowered Cougar of the same chassis, it really sucks when the diff smacks into the floor when you hit a dip too fast.
@@rookie__pilot I'm loving both projects and starting to wonder if the V-8 Celica will hit the road before the scrapstang! You're making great progress and she's hitting obstacle after obstacle! I'll be watching both with max enthusiasm!
my only suggestion is that you fit the main battery cable to the busbar and then fit the starter solenoid off one of the fuses. it will keep it all safe. otherwise if your starter burns out it could melt the wiring all the way to the battery.
Hi Angel looks like you’ve got a great plan. And it looks like it’s gonna go great. Be interesting to see if moving the engine back and down makes a big difference in handling. Curious how the shifter will work moved back like it will be after moving the engine back? What will you have to do for clutch linkage? Congratulations on 10k subscribers! Stay cool
I would put all that stuff on the outside on the firewall. It would look cleaner and if there’s ever a problem with any of it, you don’t have to crawl under the dashboard or it is a short you don’t end up with a fire inside the car under the hood and it’s safer just a thought from all 64 year-old man who used to mess around a little bit with cars.
from my experience, my car an HSV VE Clubsport R8 has a battery in the trunk, and has a serious case of hot start problems. Engine warm, it struggles to turn over. A lot of people told me the battery in the trunk is not helping the situation with the long power cable run
When I use the factory hole, run the wires from the inside under the dashboard over to that hole and then back around I know it’s a long way, but it would keep the engine be looking really clean instead of having two sets of wires and making an extra holy really don’t need to make or you can do what you want, but I would run the wires across the dashboard and come back that way. Everything will come out all the wiring would come out of one hole and I think it would be cleaner, but, let me
Good vid man...I do have a question though... If you wanted to hide the wiring as much as possible. I thought you would drill a hole behind the engine and route the wires out of eye shot... your car though mate....I really like the through panel fitting...Im stealing that idea when I wire the Barracuda...subbed today too... after your 10K milestone, to kick you off on 20K subs...
Hello Angel, there's a channel called "Pilot Debrief" I don't know if you watch it, but it seems like a great channel to learn from others mistakes..😎👍

10K is big - well done Angel, there is a lot to like here.
I like the slightly raked stance. A little taller in the back is nice.
Right!

I see some of Sarah's intricacies splling onto you like having a white board

Congrats on the 10K Angel. It’s just the beginning!
I came here from Sarah's channel and this is my first video. Congratulations on the 10k

Glad to see you reached 10000. Loving the content. Thanks for sharing
wheel bearing grease will quiet down the hoist balancer
Thank you!
Congrats on 10k Food Cake!
Outstanding Angel. 10K! Thanks for the project hint. Looking forward to firing up the stang.
10,000 yay! Very cool.
I had no idea the engine sets so far back. It ought to handle well that way.
Great restore job young felah,l have a similar project and needs to get motivated before l drop off. Like you and have the talent to get it done as soon as everyone stops coming over for a mens chat
That connector you used for the starter/alternator wires is called a liquid tite fitting. Keep up the good work!

Congrats on the 10k!!! I agree with your original thought that the ride height should be the same front to back
Congrats on 10k subs! Steady as she goes. She will be a cool and reliable stang.

The wiring is turning out nice! Congrats on 10k! Woot!
Nice work on the wiring! Congrats on 10k subs, you deserve it and I'm sure there's a lot more coming your way!

Congrats on the 10K! 😎👍🐎🏎🏁🏁

10K BABY 🎉. Well deserved
@2:46 I see something white, looks like a MGA but not quite stock!
Congrats on 10k!
Was is premeditated that you and Sarah-n-tuned would both be wiring projects at the same time?
Umm not really, we just got to that point at the same time i guess. But she DID partially sponsor this harness 👍🏻

👍👍👍
Have you sorted out how you're going to run the horn wire, the high and low beam headlight wires, and the turn signal and parking light wires?
No one does it like Sarah not even angel food cake
Where’s Sarah? 😂 Grease bro. Yeah that looks very good.
Food cake getting er done
Woohooo congrats on 10k!! Would it be wise to run a fuse between the solenoid and battery in the trunk?
from my experience, my car an HSV VE Clubsport R8 has a battery in the trunk, and has a serious case of hot start problems. Engine warm, it struggles to turn over. A lot of people told me the battery in the trunk is not helping the situation with the long power cable run
I would not put the solenoid in the interior. On my Mustang the solenoid stuck on and turned red hot right before it went into flames.
If the battery is in the trunk you are going to need a larger gauge cable for the Starter. probably 1 ga. or 1/0
........ you'll need the grounds, body bonds, & battery leads
Can you not grease or lube that angle thing for the engine hoist?
When I use the factory hole, run the wires from the inside under the dashboard over to that hole and then back around I know it’s a long way, but it would keep the engine be looking really clean instead of having two sets of wires and making an extra holy really don’t need to make or you can do what you want, but I would run the wires across the dashboard and come back that way. Why did you bolt the transmission onto the engine without a flywheel?
The transmission is an empty case right now, it will likely be removed again before we start it
@@rookie__pilot yeah you'd be a beast of a lifter if that was full of gears! "Meh, just bringing this tranny over, no problem amirite"

Yasss🙌 you didn't even scratch the car😅 you and Sarah are beasts with these makeovers ❤ Sarah N Tuned needs to be placed on your car💞
that looks like a generously sized crumple zone
😂😂
Just make sure your wire ends (eyelets?) are not too big for that plastic passthrough.
That's.. not how we use those cable glands, but well done regardless. 😅
