The mustang drove and rode nice as it was . A good wheel alignment and tighten the steeing box play nd they drove great What i like the most about the upgrade is more engine bay space

I placed a small vise on a 3/4 plywood base for occasions when i need a vise in a remote location. It is big enough to C clamp it somewhere for more stability. Great build!

Ahhhh... I had that manifold when I was in high school in 1974 exactly 50 years ago this summer, on my 67 Mustang that I lost my virginity in, LOL That was a sweet engine with a 650, but honestly, it was that 500 Holley 2 barrel that I think really made that engine come alive! Fun video, thanks!

May I suggest putting a battery disconnect switch on the battery terminal - it means you can easily and safely disconnect the battery when working on the car, and when it is up and running, can be used when parked to avoid parasitic draw from draining the battery, thus avoiding the classic youtube jump pack sequence whenever you go to use the car (kinda assuming this won't be a daily driver)

You're doing better with your fan relay than I did. Yes...I wired a manual switch to my ancient Lancia Beta sedan's rad fan rather than replace the relay. (Sigh...) Well...at least it was late autumn/early winter in Germany at that time... Mercifully...I sent that car to the Schrottplatz (German for "Junkyard") only a few months afterward.🤣🤣

I made my radiator hoses using speedway silicone hose kit. Get some variety of hoses at different angles and use the aluminum junctions to create any weird bends you may need. I also used Gates power grip hose clamps on the junctions to eliminate having to use a ton of hose clamps that may look tacky. Great progress so far!

When you touched the positive cable to the battery, there was a buzz on the video. Maybe something generated some RF interference?

For the radiator hose get the oem ones and cut them on the straight portion running to the radiator and use one of the metal sleeves to extend it a few inches. The sleeves have the rolled ends to keep the hoses from popping off.

I would recommend to run the ground all the way to the engine block then another ground from firewall and frame to block. It’s a pain chasing bad grounds and since the frame doesn’t connect to front it can cause you issues.

Cut up and tape together some old radiator hoses to mock up the shape you need and then wander through the racks at one of the bigger parts store until you find one that's close enough to fit comfortably.

That chassis group looks too weak for running a starter. Suggest you run a fat cable up to the engine.
