Thank you Sarah and Michael and thank you Angel that was an awesome video. At first I was like wow that wiring is not easy but then the more you explained it the easier it was 😊😊😊
Well thank you Kirk!
Thanks Sarah and Michael for hooking AFC up with the wiring! Y'all are great!
🙌
Thanks sarah and Michael for helping out ❤ keeping the content coming 👍
Very much so!!
I have been watching Sarah for years.
She is a goddess of all things cars.
She directed me to your channel.
You are a pretty decent technitian and a mechanic.
Very entertaining.
I hope to contribute more to you and her as well as U-Wrench.
My favourite people from Tucson Arizona.
Outstanding Angel! Sarah sponsoring wiring, who would have thought. We are here to enjoy, not set your schedule. Be at peace.
Thank you!
So we'll said, Dale.
He's probably going to show up on Monday and found that Sarah snuck in...
...in her spare time 😂😂😂
........and completed all the wiring.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 NOT! 😁
Looking nice Angel. That wiring kit gift was awsum.
Man. That’s a heck of a savings. And, so far, only missing one wire. That’s awesome.
Right!
Great job Angel.
Thank you Sarah & Michael
I keep trying to picture the end result. Having watched Sarah we know everything is made like new again. I think it can be very good looking in and out.
Stang will be ugly on the outside BUT well built!
Don’t beat yourself up about posting. Happens to everybody once in awhile. Thanks Sarah and Micheal for helping. Looks like the universal kit is pretty good actually. Like you said either way you have to cut everything to length and install ends to connect stuff I think it’ll be fine and it fits with the whole concept rather well too. Stay cool
Thank you Darren!
Kudos to Sarah and Michael! Great job on the wiring. Cheers! 😎👍🏎🐎🏁🏁
Good friends and talent go a long way! Sarah is a priceless source of mech knowledge !
Liked this wiring step by step👍
Nice truck opening🤣👍
Well done Sarah and Michael, great to support up and coming guys.
Keep the vids coming, at this point I’ll just follow your “How To Guide” for my restoration
Hope they can help!! 👍🏻
You could mount the fuse box with a bracket and a loop of wiring that lets you slide the box down when you need to replace fuses, Relays etc.
It was awesome of Sarah and Michael to sponsor you 😊. Keep up the good work .
Great idea thanks!!
I've got a 93 S-10. Similar fuse location, 90 degrees different.
I'd encouraged installing the drivers seat, then attempting to replace a fuse.
Seats out, not an issue.
I need a chiropractor after just looking for a blown fuse.
I'd literally do a glove box delete to put mine in a serviceable location.
Sarah‼️ Hope you do well too Angel‼️
So please Sarah is able to support you. Thanks Sarah. Loving the content thanks for sharing
Love the pen/marking idea.
I really enjoy this detailed look into how a build comes together. No gimmicks no pizzazz just what it takes to make it happen.
Thank you !!! ✌🏼✌🏼
Thanks for recognizing Sara
I'm glad the First Aid kit worked well, hopefully you heal up and get back to flipping the bird at people on a regular basis!
Hahaha... I 'bout fell off the treadmill this morning when you said you were gonna drag the wires in the dirt!! 🤣🤣🤣
That was a great video! I went from feeling some 'wiring anxiety' to thinking it was rather straight forward.. Nicely done!
Woohoo thinking I might need one of these harnesses for one of my trucks.
Would 100% work!
That ink-pen trick was awesome, I'm going to put that in my tool bag.
I totally understand getting burned out on wiring. Just finished a week long wiring job on the Fastback, I don't want to see another wire for at least 6 months! 😆
I feel ya! I cut out a lot of boring parts or me losing my cool parts 😂
awesome vid, Angel! glad to find you through Sarah!
Just found the channel and am catching up on some of these mustang vids. Been working on a 67 myself. Just a tip on the fuse block, it can be installed upside down if you need the fuses more accessible. Keep up the good work
In Niagara Falls Ontario. We have an eclipse happening. 1,000,000 tourists showed up' tips are crazy at the moment. Lets share the $$$$$.Tis fair.....don't ya think Angel?
HELL YEAHH!!! Glad to hear that Gary, thank you for your contribution!! The scrapstang will be very happy lol
Soooo Sarah & Michael are.... angel investors then ? 😅
Great viewing
Have to check out that Speedway wiring harness, looks like it's worth it's weight in gold.
Should have known our SarahNTuned would be in on the help for Angel. Colabs work that way. Hey Angel, that tesa tape works a lot like the similar Scotch brand tape only it has a nicer finished look. Cuts come with the territory. Plenty of snag points under the dash. Press on AFC!
Rookie Pilot, you should watch Yorkshire Car Restorations and see some body work guys who handle rust problems beautifully. I swear some of the cars they get are just rusty templates for the car they build a piece at a time to replace structurally unsound parts. Vehcor is great if you need to fix a car that was wrecked and just need to see the master do the job.
Please have Sarah do a car view on it when it's done!
I'm willing to bribe her. 😉
Haha yes😂
Sarah is the best. Who’s Michael? Need a little back story here…
Anywho, the scrapstang is coming along. Would it have been easier to pull the Dash and get it out of the way at least initially?
Great job!!
Michael is a long time supporter of the channel! The dash unfortunately is welded in place so it could not have been possible to remove!
The "average guy" is not an "average cupcake". You're awesome, dude! Love your vibe and positivity - i am trying to learn from your example.
Well thank you!!! ✌🏼
Thank you Sarah and Michael !
Good friends are worth more than their weight in gold. Keep them close!
Right!
I felt your pain when you split your finger open. Wiring always freaks me out. Im so scared to cut the wires because I hate ugly patch jobs on short wires
Haha it still hurts today!
Another cool gaming channel, I love the live action Car Mechanic Simulator game format, amazing!!!
@8:30 it doesn't have a lock cylinder, but the latch is there. flat head screwdriver is all you need to open it. can do from the outside as well btw.
Wow, I'm in the middle of my rewire and there were a few nuggets of good info in here, I wish I had this video a week ago. 😄
Oh man! Re-wire for the new project truck or stang??
@@rookie__pilot Mustang. I'm about 85% done with it, more work than I thought it would be. :)
0:35 Ah ha! I knew it! If it has to do with wiring, Sarah-n-tuned had to be involved. (She is a self-confessed wiring lover.) 😉😊😇
That was very informative, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
You inspired me. I finally have a project to piddle with! It has some gremlins in the electrical system. Wiring freaks me out big time, luckily the car leaks every fluid that a car can leak and from multiple locations for each so I can ignore the electrical for now!! I'm pretty sure if I set a sealed can of soda in the engine bay it would spontaneously spring a catastrophic leak! Good luck with your wiring and thanks again for the inspiration Angel, you da man
That is awesome to hear!! Not the leak part… but the project! What is it?? If it doesnt leak than its empty lol
It's a r50 Mini Cooper. I actually got one to build and a parts car. The build one is going to go to my brother and I think I'm going to build the spare too if I can swing it. It's yer bog standard twofer!!
I used that same harness in my 72 Maverick, it’s a decent harness.
I'm glad you enjoy this. You'll get to do it again soon, minus the rat poop.
This is the test run for the kit! 😎
I am in the Arizona RUclips rabbit hole. Angel needs to get pulled over by Frank Sloup once this thing is driveable
Is that Officer Frank? 😂
@@rookie__pilot yes! But maybe you should get pulled over by Sheriff Lamb, he only gives warnings
@@chrisbailey5055 id rather not get pulled over by ANYONE 😂
I used conduit for under the fender when I tucked mine in my 64 falcon.. I have some pics on my facebook page for it
I definitely need to see that! I need ideas
Thank you very helpful
Glad it helped!
I wish i knew that kit existed 10 years ago.
Me too!! I wouldve saved $800 on the last project!
Not a car girl but will always click on your videos in hopes that you make it big on YT. Rooting for you and Karen since middle school!!!
glad you mentioned integrity of the car lol. im looking at it all gutted and perfect time to fix rust spots, replace panels, patch holes, etc. be a shame to put that new front suspension, new wiring, and w/e new you install just to have it rust out 3-5yrs down the road.
One additional tool is highly recommended and that is a multi-meter, or at least a basic circuit tester. Nothing worse than getting everything wired up and wrapped and finding out you have a failure. Ask me how I know. 😜
how convenient - just in time for my curiousity about wiring looms in cars. My mass airflow meter is starting to play up due to 1 out of the 5 wires breaking. It makes me wonder how the other 4 wires are doing, and also, how easy would it be to change out a small section to avoid redoing the entire loom. Thanks for this video
Food cake!
Great content as usual! I've seen the sweat, and now the blood. Any tears yet?
BTW, you're probably going to wish you had left one of the wires going to the rear end. It makes pulling the new wires through way easier.
Late or not, keep 'em coming!!
I would have looked to see if the fuse box could have been located under the hood like newer cars.
I see something else the wiring harness didn't have a box of band-aids.
Good point 😂
Nobody cares if you're running late getting videos out.....
...you need to have a life too.
Youre doing absolutey fantastic narrating and editing the videos .
Wow, $177 for all that.
Very impressive considering the cost of a single roll or wire...... and so many colors, unlike the choices found in auto parts stores, and labled wires too.
..... I'll be dipped! Very cool. 👍
Thank you Randy!!
Did you even consider naming your channel Angel Food Cake? I did subscribe because you put together a great video! say hi to Sarah for me.
One word color coded spiral wire loom 😂
Color coded for front rear engine etc
Did you Scrap stang have back up lights? Was an option for 65 but not common. I don't have em
On average how much length do you find yourself cutting? Most of the wires on my project will actually end up being extended. This may be major. I was dreading paying 1K.
Quite a bit, i cant say exactly because its always different. BUT i always end up with the box full of extra wires!
Who makes you headlamp?
Electrical tape... turns into the worst kind of chewing gum 😅
Yes😂😂😂
👊👍
🤘🏼✌🏼
I feel your pain, I wish I still had my military grade strippers that I used to use to send to you, but alas, No. Also ask Sarah about a bulkhead canon plug LOL. They are clean as hell but pinning them is a pain.
Thatd be awesome, theyre so expensive now a days. Yea cannon plugs sound “fun” 😂
@@rookie__pilot One other thing I just remembered: Some early fords used a reduced voltage from IGN in run mode. During starting battery voltage was delivered from the 4th post on the starter solenoid to the coil. It might not affect your project but keep this in mind.
tell me more about Michael Sanchez he sounds like a solid homie, Órale wey, Sa .. Sar..? Sarah? oh yeah yeah, the hot chick.
Michael is a long time supporter! He has been with us since we opened the stable!
@@rookie__pilot - right on
Great video except for 1 small point, your constant hand waving in front of the camera serves no point and is very distracting, otherwise great work
😎🍺👍🇦🇺
Thats what screwdrivers are for , put it in the barrel and turn Pilot
