I find it fascinating how I can go 30-odd years without hearing a a show's theme song, and completely forget how it goes - then, when I find it on youtube, I remember exactly how it goes, after hearing only 2 seconds of it.

My favorite part of the intro is when Robin and Woody swing off the chandelier and very briefly they deft gravity and are flying in the air landing on two thugs. That would be so cool to do in real life. I remember years ago, I was 12 years old when this series came on. I actually remember having a dream back then were I was able to swing on a chandelier and briefly flying and flipping before landing on a bad guy. That scene is still cool to watch even today.

I'm guessing regular but to play along. No I was not "high" watching Mister T. It's a cool cartoon with animated Mister T in an odd position of coaching a bunch of gymnasts.
If you can't handle that some of us like stuff like this, to damn bad. Hell I wasn't even alive when this was made. I discovered and enjoyed it in re-runs. And happily bought the dvd of season one, and will if they release season 2. And not a single drug ever influenced my decision to do so.

"MISTER T" was an NBC Saturday morning cartoon series in 1983 from Ruby-Spears Enterprises, a division of Taft Broadcasting, long before the Turner/Time Warner takeover that eventually resulted in Warner Bros.Entertainment's ownership of the Hanna-Barbera library. Joe Ruby & Ken Spears, founders and exec. prods of their cartoon shows, were first owned by the now defunct Filmways company before being sold to Taft Broadcasting, who then owned Hanna-Barbera, and it was confusing to tell their cartoons apart because they were almost the same, with some slight differences. given Mr. T's popularity on NBC's "THE A-TEAM" series in 1983, the cartoon series was actually well made, since RS was also responsible for "THUNDARR, THE BARBARIAN" in 1980 on ABC, then rerunned by NBC in 1983. eventually, Ruby-Spears moved into greater cartoon shows like "TURBO TEEN", "GOLDIE GOLD AND ACTION JACK" and an animated "RAMBO" series during the height of the Sylvester Stalone franchise (Stalone did not voice his animated counterpart) the RS studio also did a "POLICE ACADEMY" cartoon series, and did a well made "SUPERMAN" cartoon series for CBS in 1988. much of their cartoons were produced overseas, which gave their animated shows a little more superior flexibility in those days!

The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show & Mister T were H-B Cartoon 80s ,replacing Drak Pack. Since Drak Pack (H-B Australia) was sold to Southern Star (in 1988) to Endemol Australia (in 2013) while The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show & Mister T (Ruby-Spears USA) were sold to Hanna-Barbera to Turner Broadcasting System (in 1991), which in turn merged with Time Warner (in 1996) as part of the original Ruby-Spears library (its pre-1991 library).

yawyaw kam Actually Joe Ruby and Ken Spears worked for Hanna Barbara back in the late 60's and through out the mid 70's . They created Scooby-Doo and Dynomutt dog wonder, they would leave HB and start their own company which we know as Ruby Spears.

So, Mr. T, arguable the very last person who should be training kids to be gymnasts, is a gymnastics coach with a some rando kid who he has obviously imprinted who also just happens to have a dog with a Mohawk. The 80’s were wild.

The good ole days before our current racial situation. The days when black, white and Asian parents allowed a black man to take their children cross country, solve crimes and mysteries, and also compete in gymnastics!

Similar to Muhammad Ali's cartoon, in 1977. Like T, Ali appeared in real form, at the end of the episode, to give the lesson. However, Ali's cartoon only lasted one season. T's lasted four. Ali's cartoon was ahead of it's time
