Mister T is an American animated series that aired on NBC on Saturday morning from 1983 to 1985, featuring the popular actor Mr. T and produced by Ruby-Spears Enterprises.
The cartoon stars Mr. T as a coach to a gymnastics team (with a specific emphasis on members Jeff, Woody, Robin, and Kim), travelling the world while becoming involved in and solving various mysteries similar to the Scooby-Doo franchise.
But Mr. T, the man, was also Mr. T the brand. There was Mr. T cereal, Mr. T action figures, dolls, Colorforms, storybooks and his appearances in movies like Rocky III and DC Cab and his starring role on the A Team.
    Mr. T was everywhere.

It's honestly the biggest tragedy of him, that so many people really miss the depth of his message. It took me hearing the interview where he talked about his name and image to really appreciate him, and now that I do, I spread that information as much as I can because honestly he had a lot of important things to say.

People didn't WANT to see it...they never do.
      Positivity doesn't sell,
      Negativity does.
If you go back in history, you'd see ALOT of people with positive messages that people chose to ignore in favor of making a joke of or pointing negative stuff outta these people with positive messages.
      From Mr.T to Michael Jackson...
It's really sad and when the end comes, we'll reflect on it before being sent to our final destination.....

Worked on a Snickers commercial with Mr. T. I spent a few days in a helicopter with him. It was awesome. He is absolutely the most lovely guy. At one point he said: “I might be gettin’ old but I can still say “I pity the fool!””, and the two of us sitting in the back of the helicopter quietly went nuts. To date one of the absolute highlights of my career. The biggest issue with him was he stopped and chatted with everyone before he got to the set.

His fame never went to his head and he always remained extremely respectful to everyone. He was definitely a good man.

I overheard some kids talking about it on the bus afterwards, but I never believed them; it sounded pretty unlikely. It wasn’t until the yearbook was published later that year and I saw the photos of him high-fiving the more fortunate students that I realized that he did indeed come to the school to pump the kids up and set them on the right path. I begged my mom for that very same Michael Jackson red leather jacket with the zippers when I was in second grade. She didn't buy it for me and said that it was too expensive for a kid's jacket that I wouldn't think is cool anymore within a year's time. Was she right? Yes. Do I still think about that jacket all the time? Also yes.

Damn, this was so much fun to watch!! Much, much respect and love for the one and only, legendary, Mr.T! When I was a kid, I was a fan of everything that he was a part of. I loved Rocky 3, DC Cab, the Mr.T cartoon and especially, The A Team! At 48 years old, I'm very happy to have the Galoob 12" Mr.T (non-talking) and the 6" A Team figures as part of my action figures collection. I also own the first season of the cartoon on DVD. Thank you for the awesome memories and lessons learned, Mr.T..."I pity the fool!" By the way, Dan, I was also a huge Michael Jackson fan that also mastered the moonwalk...only with socks on. 😎

I haven't watched your video yet, but I wanted to give unbiased info. I was a small child when on friday night they announced the next morning would air a Mr T animated show. I was so excited I had a hard time sleeping with visions of BA Baracus mowing down bad guys in technicolour filing my 7 year old mind. W\My confusion and their betrayal was complete when then next day I watched He man with Mr T's head lifting cars while children did cartwheels around him only to be summed up with a morality tale. The live action segment only served to demonstrate how ridiculous the animated hulked out creature with his name was and further killed any interest I would have in the show. Top that off with a yellow box selling corn in the shape of Ts with no marshmallows or chocolate or anything and the betrayal was complete. Mr T's only redeeming quality was its bangin theme song punctuated with early 80s disco remnants and a Solid Gold esthetique that plucked the emotional strings of my 7 year old heart.
OK Now I watch the video.
