    Be careful!!! This video talks about the standards prior to CCSS. Essential outcomes and common formative assessment are still important, but they should perhaps focus more on the claims and targets than on individual standards.

      Whether state or national standards, clarity on what we want students to learn will always precede competence for both teachers and their students.
